The LEGO Store Monthly Mini Model Build!

One day each month you can learn how to build a cool LEGO mini model, and take it home – for free! Quantities are limited and offer is good while supplies last only. A new model will be available every month and will be specially themed to that month – ask a Store Associate for details! Models are not for sale and cannot be purchased. One free per child. Event is open to children aged 6 to 14 only. Check with your local LEGO Store for dates and times.

@tsfisch: not very long, in my experience. get there an hour early

If you've never been to a lego store, make sure to check out their bulk bricks section in the back, they change a few of the pieces available on a random basis, and I've managed to score some really hard to find pieces in the hundreds for 2-3 cents each, for an easy resale on ebay for up to 50c each. http://cache.lego.com/upload/contentTemplating/StoresHomepage/images/1033/pic8FBF056EF13398F6479C103BCF21EF30.jpg

Thanks for posting this deal. We called the store (Mall of America), said they typically ran out about 6:30-7pm. We got there just before 6:30, waited in a short line, and got in for the build. After the 10-15 minute build session they were all gone.

Kids loved it.
