anyone think it would be too obnoxious trying to ride town a sidewalk in New York City on one of these?

@tippypaws will you marry me?

Halfway serious, I need to see your LEGO collection first.

In for two... Oh, i'm going to be in so much trouble when my wife finds out. Oh well, you only live once.
Side note, at the end of the drift trike video, there is clip for another video featuring the worlds larges rope swing. So, it was either $300 on a couple of trikes, or $30 million to buy the rights to the land that the giant rope swing sits on. I got the better deal.

The ones in the video just had the tires wrapped.
Probably with mylar sheets or similar.
I think you could pull this off if you're under 25.
26-35 would equate to socially challenged.
Over 35 and it screams MLC!

@groghunter: dude, is it bad ass or what? I really need you to say yes as i've purchased 2 and am now experiencing a bit of buyers remorse

The video makes these look fun as hell, the adult in me says "hold on, those are dangerous if you rock them like that". :(

ok, ordered 2 of these puppies. 1 showed up 2 days after I ordered (the other is scheduled to arrive today). These are so much fun. We played all weekend. The youngest rider was 13. The rest of us are .... well let's just say we aren't 13. These are solid, well built toys. Did a little research and found that these are highly modifiable. New grips, stem and tires already on order. Getting them to drift takes a bit of effort. Once we wore down the pattern on the stock tire to a nice flat finish, we become drift kings. Front tire is knobby and will chew the sh*t out of your leg...don't say i didn't warn you. All in all...this things rocks.

I got one of these - it arrived on Friday, was out of town all weekend and got it together tonight..

The reason I got it: the past 3 or 4 years the New Belgium Urban Assault Race had adult trikes for us to ride/race at the end of the race & they were a blast.. So a friend of mine decided to build one, with that I thought it would be great to have a 2nd for us to race against with.
Not thinking of using this at all for transportation, it's going to be all for fun at one of our places.

I will add a couple of things about it though -
1) I needed another spacer on the steer tube to the stem for the headset to tighten correctly. Not a big deal for me, I had one around, but might want to watch for that.

2) It doesn't seem like I would ever have to possibility to adjust to the largest size to move the seat back. Nor could I get it where I can have all 4 of the bolts to hold down the seat either.
