Snow Peak Titanium Spork for $8.95
What do you get when you cross a lightweight titanium spoon with a lightweight titanium fork? The ultimate eating utensil!Twice the weight savings--not only is titanium light, but you need only carry a single utensil cutting the weight you carry even further. Titanium leaves no metallic smell or taste and will not rust. Imported.

My plastic spork tends to do the job fairly well. Why should I upgrade to this model?
@valianteffort: 2 words - Ti-Tanium.
Titanium, when exposed to air, is covered in an oxide layer which is anti-bacterial. I carry mine with me everywhere.
I bought a couple of these for my wife and I a while back and they are awesome. Very durable and super lightweight. They don't stain or retain food odors like plastic utensils. Trust me, you don't want the funk from freeze dried pad thai to hang around in your utensils...
This is the same brand that thinkgeek gives you.....
I have a star trek one it's awesome!
cool spork, but not a deal. always this price (or cheaper) on every worthwhile camping gear website...ever.
@valianteffort: Can your plastic spork fight off a hungry badger trying to steal your cupcake? cause this one could... The power of Ti-Tanium

Correction - I think mine are REI TiWare, which cost $7.50
This is indeed the same ones from Thinkgeek. They are made from titanium but they are pretty thin and flimsy, I can bend it very easily, a standard stainless steel fork is much stronger.
I Fully agree with commondog. If you are going to go and pay for titanium, get the one he said. It's super swell.
The weight isn't that good a deal. One can drill a hole in a stainless steel spoon and do just as well for backpacking. Titanium was extremely sexy when very expensive while a strategic resource. The end of the Cold War made supplies much easier. Snow Peak began selling a Titanium propane stove for a fraction of the previously available brands about 10-15 years ago.
They make a really cool set of chop sticks though! Wooden ends that screw off and store in the titanium handle/tubing.
yea not a good deal got mine as a freebee from thingk geek with geek points but its pretty sturdy unless you need to chisel though some ice its great
