Yep. Bought mine roughly 2 years ago (also refurbished, also $100) and it is probably the best investment I've ever made.

Word of warning, though, if you want it to work with a PS3, there's an IR device you'll have to shell out an extra $40 for.

@rosingjh That is correct. It still functions as it should and all of the changes you have already made will still be there, but it will no longer be compatible with the software so you cant update anything or make any changes.
They don't ask you to send it back, so if the malfunction is nothing major you can always keep it as a back up, but if you get a new device you wouldn't be able to program it into the remote.

@the18thtee84: when you say you cant update the software do you mean you cant make changes to the devices/macros etc using the software?

If you are trying to replace a defective Harmony remote, you can call the tech support and they will go through some silly troubleshooting, and then offer you a 50% off coupon that will work, making this only $65.

Just a heads up; when you do tell them your remote is defective, they will "blacklist" it, so you will no longer be able to update the software. The remote will still function normally, but will no longer receive software updates.

I have been using Harmony remotes for five or six years now. They are fantastic. I bought this particular model for my dad a few years ago and he loves it. It's a great model (and the buttons aren't supposed to be susceptible to the wearing out issue that some others have.) The only thing that I don't like about it is the touchscreen, meaning there are some things you can't do without looking down at the remote.

@baqui63: Thanks! I'm still a deals.woot noob.

@bdecker202:

Put backslashes (the ones NOT with the question mark) in front of each underscore and they will work: here_are_a_bunch_of_underscores.

This thing is way better than the generic remote they give you with DirectTV. Plus, it can handle all the technologies in my entertainment center. Just wish it worked with the PS3 w/o an additional piece of hardware.

@plex49: I use mine for my complicated home theater setup and it handles it like a champ!

I just bought one of these for about $160 new. It's help shave seconds off my life when turning on the TV.

For some reason the coupon code isn't including underscores... it should be:

logi h1 22212

Replace the spaces with underscores.
