Buy this because it is only $0.99, but you will never use it. Do not put this thing in your wallet (which is it designed for) if you ever have to walk through metal detectors, that with lead to questions being asked.
Just bought one for the full $1.00 with free shipping. Lucky you, you get the opportunity for it cheaper.
It's in my wallet now, but I will say that I'm a little underwhelmed by a few of the features. The can opener, for instance, is either too dull or generally difficult to use. The direction ancillary indicator to me seems a waste of space. The wrenches and the driver are going to be hit-or-miss in where you can use them considering the shape of the tool. The butterfly wrench... Um, that one has me beat: Why do you need a partially-sharpened tool to operate a thumb-screw?
The bottle opener, the saw, the ruler, and the knife (after some sharpening) are of little complaint. Definitely will want to keep it in the pouch, though, once it's sharp.
EDIT: Retrying use on a can. I'm an idiot and get it now. It's kind of like repeatedly punching into the lid. More reliable, now that I know how to use it.
It's comforting to know that when I'm stranded in the middle of nowhere, I'll still be able to open my beer.
I don't think "key ring hole" is a tool. Maybe the "convenient pouch" is number 11?
I bought a bunch of these, I gave some to friends and I keep one in my wallet at all times. I've used it on many occasions, well worth the $1 you spend for it.
I bought one a while back from meritline, well worth a buck. It comes in handy at least once a week for me. Just ordered a few more as spares, that way if I ever had it on me when flying I could just toss it.
DH is in industrial sales and had been looking for a promotional item to give to customers (how many stress balls do those guys really want, after all). When I found these for $1 with free shipping recently, he bought 150 (I think) and placed his sticky-backed business cards on the pouches (a perfect fit). So far his customers have loved them and the silver lining for me is that he has decided that my online shopping fixation ain't such a bad thing!
rarely is there such a perfectly priced item. Makes you shed a tear for shear supply in demand. When you get it, first thought will be "id pay a dollar for that....but I won't make any movement to get it." I bought 10 as xmas gifts for all my male family members. Will fit perfectly in a card, just need a nice dollar gift that comes in pink and I'll be done before Halloween.
Easily the handiest thing I own. I keep mine in my wallet and use it at least twice a day.
@dcmtnbkr: Only two beers a day? I would use it 3-4 times a day!
I had one in my backpack for the longest time. Pretty much only took it out to open a beer. Took it past LAX, but they kept it at Chicago );
Out of stock.
Waaannhhh wahhhhhh
I bought one, used it one time to open a beer....waste of a dollar in my op.
