So, you're saying that an Extra Life for Mario is only $1.00?

@damaged: I'd say that depends on the state of the Mushroom Kingdom economy. Coins seemed pretty devalued in Mario 3, so the dollar probably traded much higher over the coin at that point. But in Mario 2, currency was scarce.

...am I over-thinking this?

its not $1.50 you need to earn the coins by buying games registering them and doing short reviews on them. Its Nintendo reword system for 1st party games

most wii games are worth 50
and most 3ds games are round 30

Ohhh... my. Sweet, sweet nostalgia.

I wonder, how well does 4 player work on this on the Wii? I'm at college, and I'm considering this.

Can you use the classic controller (that it requires) with the 2011 Wii- or only the original Wii's that came out?

I know most of the special controllers that Wii uses arn't compatible with the newest Wiis... is the classic controller?

My kids were so excited to get this that they found and registered 3 games and downloaded this game before they could realize that it's ONLY compatible with the classic controller... which we don't have.

You could also use up to 4 gamecube controllers instead.

@seahokedrama: There are classic controllers for about $6 that plug into a Wii remote that makes the controller wireless, if you have the newer Wii system like I do. I just got one off eBay.

@elohssa: See my comment above. it is worth it to get a couple remotes like this because there are lots of games in the Wii channel like this that you will eventually download that require it. Hope that helps
