The print button prints the entire webpage so it does look really dumb hopefully the firestone store accepts it.

Oil change - $14.99
Tire rotation - Free
All the other stuff that they'll find that needs to be "fixed"? How much you got?

This is for synthetic oil, which makes it a good deal, but does that mean I need to use synthetic oil for the remainder of the car's life? I thought you weren't supposed to mix them...

vote-for1vote-against

This is for a synthetic blend, not full syn- but regardless, it doesn't matter- it will not hurt to switch around at all.

I always get the lifetime alignment on my vehicles and they do this service (tire rotation & pressure check) for free for me every time I get my alignment done.

@tsfisch: If you switch to full synthetic, its highly recommended that you stay with a full synthetic oil. The size of the molecules are different between traditional oil, partial synthetic, and full synthetic.

@3horn: doesn't mean you have to fall for it!

@trendkill7577: that was a worthy comment my friend, well said!

Found a link to the coupon. I think Firestone pulled it off their site. Enjoy...

People pay other people to change oil and rotate tires? Huh...

vote-for1vote-against

@pitifulazcardsfan thanks for the link. worked like a charm. ;)

I did happen to make a pdf of the coupon also :) Thanks PDF printer!

@mechanicsc: yup since it costs almost $12 to get all the stuff for the oil change. Drain the oil, put it in the container the new oil came in. Drive to a store that will take it and drive back. Plus the coupon gives a free tire rotate and if you don't have the jack stands its basically impossible to do a tire rotate plus it takes a good hour to do both items so if you time has no value then yes go ahead and do your own. For $15 I'll have someone else do all the leg work while I watch TV.

Seems a little fishy though, all the other coupons on their site look like real coupons. We sure this wasn't a hack? Compare/Contrast their other coupons: http://www.firestonecompleteautocare.com/offers/

A nice person from Firestone emailed into us asking to please take this down because it did not have a year on the exp. date and should have expired last year (clearly the original link does not work anymore). It seems it's still available online, so, I mean, I'm sure you guys can still print it out, but he really was nice about it and I hope their wishes can be respected :D

DEAD, mmm, did not last long, will search to see if maybe GOODYEAR has coupon...GOODYEAR

vote-for1vote-against

@agingdragqueen: wow, i actually got Firestone writing emails...woot woot!

vote-for1vote-against

I went up to firestone to get a oil change with this coupon and the store manager told me that he hasn't seen or heard of this and wouldn't honor it since there was no expiration date. I then called customer service and the guy looked into and said that it was a mistake and that was a promotion they had several years back. I told him that since I got it off their website if i could have a voucher or something for that price, he then said he would look into and email me the results. In the mean time im gonna go change my oil in my jeep my self cause im bored!

@mechanicsc: I do all the maintenance on my bimmer and bike... my truck's filter is a PITA to get to though... so yeah... I'll gladly pay to have someone else do it for me if it's cheap enough.

We're all very proud of you for doing your own though :)
