bought 2 of these last time around.... my 2 dogs (30 lbs each) tore through them in a less than a week. Found the chewed up squeakers hidden around the house.

My dog deliberately destroys his toys, so we love to give him these. Then we don't come home to plushie "guts" all over the house.

@joeyvankuiken: Thanks! I had no idea how great these were, I just copied what they said in the infomercial.

@cowboydann: I would consider quick destruction and chewed-up pieces a bad sign, actually.

@duxbak99: shoot I thought I came back and added an (n't) to the end of that[were(n't)]. Guess I didn't submit my edit in time

Call my crazy, but I dont think it should be considered free if I have to pay shipping...

vote-for2vote-against

@teenracer6 they do that all the time on that site. Even worse when you order multiple and the shipping is multiplied at full cost lol.

They should call their site ThatShadyDeal

I got a bunch of these at PetSmart on clearance for $4.99 before Christmas. I have a Pug and a Corgi and these are their favorite toys. They do get destroyed and I imagine all dog toys will because dogs don't like playing and chewing solid steel. If your dogs are like mine though they eat the "legs" off the toys first and I find them in the yard later.

@chipgreen: I've actually bought plenty of things from them and 13deals and while their shipping is incredibly slow (they don't hide that fact at all) I have always been pleased with my products and never had a problem (I've probably placed 6 orders over the last 6 months)

vote-for3vote-against

I don't have a problem with "free" products still have a shipping charge - if it is reasonable. Rather resent ridiculous s&H charges but $3.99 is probably close to cost of package and ship it.

Got a raccoon one for my dog who tears up even the toughest toys. She managed to mess the squeaker up in the head by biting it, but it hasn't opened up yet. Great toy. Super tough and a good deal for only $4 altogether.

In for one... I mean, really? People find a way to complain about paying a reasonable shipping charge for something they are getting for free? You realize it costs the folks money to ship things, right?

Bought a "mystery box" from them a couple of weeks ago, Loved It!!! 14.99- got a really nice duffle bag(worth 14.99) a pack of bunny playing cards, a comic, one of those brownie pans that cuts the brownies,a collapsible water bottle and a set of speakers for a mp3 player. Was pleasantly suprised!

Everything is great until you pay for shipping :(. I don't love my pet enough to pay ANYTHING for them. I'll just let the play with my leftover KFC.

vote-for1vote-against

If you have a destructive chewer like I have then you're better off going ahead and cutting open this toy and removing the squeaker. They'll have it out within a day or two at best and it's not safe for them. If you're really anal about it I guess you could stitch it back up where you cut it open but I never bother. You only have to make a 1" cut and the dog is going to do more damage than that anyway.

@achyder: Chicken bones are very dangerous for dogs. Especially cooked ones.

vote-for2vote-against

You can order CERTAIN additional items on there and the shipping doesn't go up. So you can get even more bang for your shipping $. I order a few random items for a $1...I'm curious if it will be worth the $1, but atleast it didn't affect my shipping.

vote-for1vote-against

You may as well just hand the $4.00 you'll pay for shipping over to the dog. These thinks are crap, dogs go through them within minutes.

@phizzo: You might want to look at a Kong instead. My late Jack Russell could destroy anything, and getting a Kong(the brand name one, NOT the lookalike generic) lasted for over a year with daily chewing PLUS he always had the whitest teeth.

@jeremytheindian: I'm pretty sure achyder was joking about the KFC and poking fun at the people complaining about the 3.99 shipping on a free toy.

@kelleki: me too, everyone give him some upvotes. she deserves them.

According to Google Chrome, it is no longer a secure site... buyer beware.

@kelleki: I think I just lost 3 internets
