"Shake it, baby!"
It's time to kick @$$ and chew bubblegum, and I'm all out of gum
Seems like every review says how beyond horrible the controls are. Does anybody know if the May 2012 update alleviated the problem?
@themadmule: IT'S FREE! Just download it and try it out. If it's really that horrible, then delete it. How could that go wrong?
Funny, even with the busted controls, this is easier to play than Duke Nukem Forever!
Just to add, this deal is also available on Android. However, only episode one is free. Episodes two and three still have to be bought for $1 a piece. So really the game just got a price cut by $1.
Oh, how the meh have fallen.
@statictrance: Duke Nukem Forever wasn't that bad.
@starknightgoku: Not saying I didn't play through it and enjoy it for what it was worth ($5), but it was a far cry from anything I'd consider good.
Yes, first episode available free for Androids - however, you CAN'T save the game to micro/SD card - it can only be saved to internal memory. I have Sonys Xperia Play which only has 400mb internal...yet I have a 32gb micro sd which still has 25gb free....too bad Duke can't be copied to the micro. Maybe this will be an option for the near future. ;-)
For some reason, I can't tap the "Free" on the iPod Touch app store to make it "Install." :(
I'm guessing this version is censored...? I remember the original had nudity...
Duke 3D was a fun game to player over LAN in the 90s. I bought the XBLA version thinking it would be fun, but without custom user maps and a good group of people, you're left with uninspired original maps and the awful single-player story. Pass. Even for free.
@sirlouie: Mine was being funky as well. I had to go to the website instead, then it installed just fine
Looks like its free on Google Play too!
Not very good, don't really like this kind of game.
@capguncowboy: Thanks so much! I got it thanks to you.
