Whoever deleted it didn't see that it was from a different supplier. Rookie mistakes on a Friday afternoon. pshhhh

@dmaz: Probably so. I enjoyed your comment on the first post about Best Buy being "the little guy" though. :) Kind of hard to feel sorry for Best Buy.

To be fair, Amazon only dropped their price to compete with Best Buy. Even at this time CamelCamelCamel.com hasn't updated Amazon's price to $9.99. Shouldn't we be thanking BB for forcing Amazon to drop the price?

Isn't this game going free-to-play soon?

@factorion: Free to play as in not requiring a monthly subscription. My understanding is you will still need to buy copy of the game though.

@gribber: The game client is actually free to download from their site. The only thing you're paying for in this deal is the 30 days of paid subscription time. As of right now, downloading and playing up to level 15 is completely free (I did it). Purchasing software is not required :D

@rayray8822: Haha thanks :) I'm glad you noticed that I was being a little humorous there, in the previous comment

@factorion: Yes. It's too bad that EA cut their team so hard. The game was doing good, but not well enough in EA's eyes. So now instead of having a good star wars MMO, it's going to be just another subpar free to play like so many others.

@andrasko15: uhmwut? its already a good star wars MMO... it needs no improvement as-is. also, its going to F2P and losing funding because active subscribers dropped below 700k iirc, and at that point it stopped being profitable. the only way it would become "subpar" is if they for some reason downgraded the entire game

@faaaaq: I enjoyed the game. I played a BH to max level and did some end game content... but I get burnt out on MMOs quickly. I thought SWTOR would be exception and it was not, for me anyway.

It is a great game and is well worth a playthrough, however.

Can this game ONLY be played as a multiplayer online? Or does this game have a campaign you follow?

vote-for1vote-against

@andrasko15: Team Fortress 2 went Free to Play and it is still an awesome game.

@cac53: This is only playable online. You will need to be connected to the Internet at all times. There is no offline content.
