dealskershaw select fire multi-tool knife for $15.85

I know Kershaw primarily as a maker of dive and paddling sports knives so was surprised that from daily carry, the blade has become stained from corrosion (unlike my daily Swisschamp or Gerber Strata) so if you buy this good deal, keep it well oiled/maintained. It makes a pretty handy screwdriver (better than either my Victorinox Swiss or multi-plier). The blade has a liner lock but the screwdriver arm doesn't lock (it does have positive 90° and 180° stops; I'm not a blade expert & don't the proper terminology for this feature). I know I've used it but actually can't recall even one specific instance when I've utilized the blade on this thing so have no comment (sharpness, edge holding, whatever else) on that aspect of it.

I like the utility of it and may purchase a 2nd (or 3rd or 4th; I have the fine edge version) one at this price.

I have this blade too. Bought for $20 on sale at a sporting goods store, I really liked it but it is a pretty large tool. The blade is robust and pretty thick, very nice, but too large for my need of box cutting and simple packaging opening at work. Was priceless during a move when I needed a screwdriver or blade like every 10 minutes. Definitely a nice tool to have but like the above poster said you might need to oil it. I have had no issue with rust on the blade, but the bits will rust after the black paint covering on them wears off. (4 bits included on this knife)

adding another positive review here- great tool to carry for everyday use, the screwdriver chuck locks in nicely, the bits are standard- so no worries if they break or get lost. the knife is a little bulkier than a typical pocket knife

This Kershaw is much heavier and thicker than your standard pocket knife because of the screwdriver set. Keep that in mind when you buy because it will take up space in your pockets. The screwdriver is nice with 4 bits to choose from, but you will not be able to grab those smaller, recessed screws you see in electronics and kids toys. If that's what you'll be facing most of the time you'll need to find something with a smaller screwdriver.

It's still my daily carry and very useful.
