I literally ordered this same drive last night. But for $205 from Amazon so I don't feel too cheated out. I did a lot of research into the drive and it seemed to have great real world speeds and ranked pretty highly next to other drives.
You mean REALISTIC write speeds.
The ones claiming upwards of 500 M/s are doing internal compression to achieve those speeds, like the liars at OCX.
Try writing an already compressed video file to one of those, and watch your write speeds drop to under 250 M/s.
The only currently available drive achieving over 350 M/s on ALL file writes is the Samsung 830 line.
