Please don't buy these, they are dangerous to the dog. People always end up with dogs 22 feet out of eye shot and their dogs run into the street,or get attacked by other dogs. They are always used by folks who think if they since their dogs are small they don't need to be trained.

Also one that cost this little is not going to be any better than what you can buy at the $1 store.

@markmc27: I have had a 20 foot one for over a year and a half for my dachshund and have NEVER had a problem with him running the full length to get hit by a car in the street. That's a result of a bad owner, not the leash.

Your dog should be walking beside you - especially if you want to establish boundaries such as being the "pack leader". The additional footage is for an open area so your dog can run around and still be at the control of its master.

Everyone should buy one, and at this price it's a steal.

For those that have retractable leashes.. PLEASE.. please.. PLEASE be mindful if you are in an area that has walkers and or joggers... these things can become tripwires when the owners aren't paying attention and the dog takes off across the path...especially teeny tiny little ones!! Thanks!
