I have been waiting for this deal for months now! I'm so glad I saw this. I actually had "bowflex" search from woot on my rss reader so I'd be able to jump on it. Done and done. I can't wait until they arrive!

vote-for2vote-against

These are great. I bought the exact same set about 2 years ago and love them.

vote-for0vote-against

Finally! I've also been waiting for this to pop up again. Definitely buying.

vote-for1vote-against

They had this deal on Black Friday. i bought them then and have been using them since, great quality dumbbells, its a gym in one package if you know how to use em right.

vote-for1vote-against

Great price! Compared to 599.99 - this was a no brainer.
It's too bad you can't get that free bench deal on Boeflex's website (buy these dumbells and get a free 3.1 bench.
Great deal, thanks!

vote-for1vote-against

Wow! This is a great deal. I have these and LOVE them. They are phenomenal quality. The free shipping and under 300$ is a no brainer if you've ever even thought about these IMO.

vote-for1vote-against

My wife bought these for me a few years ago for Christmas and they are fantastic to have in your home gym. Very sturdy product. I would definitely recommend them to others and I have in the past. The only bummer was that the sports store was giving away the stands for these to the first 20 people and even though my wife got out of work at 0600 and went directly to the store, they ran out of the stands. She still got me the weights since they were priced awesome. Would've been nice to have the stands so the weights could be waist level and I wouldn't have to bend down to get them.

vote-for0vote-against

Darn!

I bought these back in February through Bowflex for the $399. Shipping was free and super fast! I ordered them on a Wednesday and they arrived on Friday. I went to Costco on Saturday and saw the same ones but they were Nautilus with the 2 in 1 stand for $349.99. I was mad. I called them the following Monday and they understood and said they would send me the stand free of charge. The stand came in last Friday. They kept cancelling my order and reordering it. It was such a hassle but makes me mad that they are an extra $20 off from what I paid for them but I am not even going to bother trying to get anything else from them because I know it will take forever.

They do work great though. Except for getting stuck sometimes when you want to pull them out of the stand.

vote-for1vote-against

in for one! love this deal ive wanted these forever! its gonna save me 50 a month cuz im not buyin no damn gym membership anymore. here's to hoping its not a scam! :)

vote-for1vote-against

pushups ladies, pushups . . . save your money for chia seeds :)

vote-for1vote-against

@dkleine1: I'm surprised I'm not the only one that used the RSS feed searching for Bowflex. I was beginning to lose hope with only heart rate monitors coming up.

If your state has sales tax, you will be charged for it. With WA tax it came to $262.14. It's P90x time.

vote-for2vote-against

@skippykj: Yeah I got the sales tax too - $259. And also yes, P90X time.

I feel like it'll be a lot easier b/c you're not fumbling around changing weights every 2 minutes!

vote-for1vote-against

Can someone tell me whether this deal is for one dumbell or two (as in a set?) I can't find that specific information in the write up, which kind of leads me to believe it's just one, and for that this seems just an ok deal to me.

vote-for1vote-against

This is a great deal. I have been looking for a price break on these for a while too.
Got charged sales tax too, paid $253.76.
For the one that asked if its for the pair, it is.

vote-for2vote-against

Are you serious about the 1 dumbell thing? I dont think a business like bowflex would mislead people like that.
Secondly the fact that the link takes you to Bowflex where it says Dumbells plural
Thirdly original prices is 399.99 which is what a set of these costs.
Quite frankly anyone thats been wanting a set of these should not pass this up.

vote-for1vote-against

You can get a different brand of these cheaper elsewhere if you look. This design is nice for saving space!

@rpizzle @skippykj @adshahs: P90X... Get real... What a waste of time & money! Fitness is more than a 90 program to make you feel accomplished. Fitness is a lifestyle change. You can do all the P90X you want to & "get ripped" but odds are you don't keep that intensity up after the 90 days, or any exercise for that matter.

So save your cash & just change your lifestyle.

vote-for0vote-against

The most amazing deal yet! Always wanted a set of my own! Would have been sweeter with the stand for them too.... Great deal none the less. Just purchased it!

vote-for1vote-against

In for one...er 2 I guess. I love dumbells. It sucks to sit in a room working out like a hamster in a wheel. However, there is something primal and masculine about cranking on dumbells that makes them tolerable.

vote-for3vote-against

@kkelleyrocks: They actually encourage you to continue doing rounds of P90X, and they also give you the resources to know how to modify the program for subsequent rounds.

Not to mention, those of us that actually follow the nutrition plan, and workout guides, make progress, and build confidence. Which eventually keeps us exercising. A lot of times, it becomes habit to continue after the program is over...

vote-for4vote-against

@kkelleyrocks: Basically I'm saying that P90X can be a catalyst to lifestyle change. :)

vote-for3vote-against

@kkelleyrocks: You must not have tried P90X. It's a serious kick in the butt, even if you're physically active and fit. It's a boot camp to learn how to get into a fitness routine or a push to make your routine more intense, but it's direct goal is not about weight lose or ab building.

P90X can give you a new perspective which leads to a lifestyle change in the way you eat as well as exercise.

EDIT: @adshahs beat me to it.

vote-for2vote-against

@adshahs & @skippykj: As a personal trainer I know P90X inside & out & know how it's not great for the body. What's good for one person doesn't work for another, there is no one size fits all for a workout program, there can't be it's impossible. No really, impossible.

The reason P90X is a "success" & the reason people like to do it is because it's hard. But so is military basic training. People will not do P90X for the rest of their lives. Truth is 90-95% of the people who do it, don't even finish it, let alone stick with for longer than 90 days.

The best way to live a healthy lifestyle is to find something you enjoy & love doing & go at it; if it doesn't come from the ground or an animal then don't eat it. (ex. no junk, not literal). :-)

But what do I know? :-)

vote-for1vote-against

Bad ASS! Love these things!

vote-for4vote-against

@kkelleyrocks, Whether P90x works for others, I dont care, but it has worked for me. I was 260 lbs 33% bodyfat, and now Im down to 205 9% BF. This is 1 1/2 rounds. I diet to a T, count my calories, watch what I eat ETC. People thinking this program will make them fit without anything else are in for a rude awakening. Diet is the key to everything. Its not polite for you to come here and discourage people from doing it. Yes its hard, but its not impossible.

vote-for0vote-against

Damn... I only wish it went up to 65 pounds.

vote-for3vote-against

It's not dead, I just bought 'em. I tried adjusting the code.
New code: D4PFSE2

vote-for1vote-against

Seriously??!! How is this deal DEAD already????

Even their website still has the banner up offering this deal!

But... the fine print reads:
"Δ Limited quantities. 40% off and free shipping on the Bowflex® SelectTech® 552 dumbbells only. Offer only valid within the 48 contiguous states of the continental U.S. Offer excludes the Bowflex® SelectTech® 1090 dumbbells. Offer not available with any other offer and is subject to availability and may change at any time. Price is subject to change. Offer is valid once to a customer and excludes previously placed orders. Offer is not valid at retail stores or outlets. Offer valid from 3/22/11 @ 9:00 pm PST to 3/25/11 @ 11:59 pm PST."

Guess they hit their "Limited Quantities"???

DAMN YOU!!!! lol

vote-for1vote-against

It's not dead. I just added it to my cart about 5 minutes ago.

FYI. Amazon has the SelectTech 1090 for $299.99 + free shipping (and no tax for most). Considering the 552 is $264 for me after tax, the 1090 is a much much better deal on a $/lb basis.

vote-for2vote-against

@iniquityx: Thanks for the update, I'll go back and try it again.

As for the reference to the SelectTech 1090 (which ranges up to 90 lbs each, instead of 52.5 lbs) and is really cool.

http://www.amazon.com/Bowflex-SelectTech-1090-Adjustable-Dumbbell/dp/B000OC5RXE/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1300946821&sr=1-3-catcorr

I think it's worth pointing out that the $299.49 price on Amazon is for ONLY ONE DUMBBELL, lol. So, That'll be $600 for two! Yikes! :-)

vote-for1vote-against

It's still telling me "The promotion code you have entered has expired or is invalid. Please check your code and try again." when I try and add the promo code on the check out page?

Anyone else getting this???

vote-for1vote-against

I used the new code somebody posted a few before you and it worked for me.

vote-for1vote-against

@smersch: THANKS FOR THE HEADS UP!! :-)

vote-for1vote-against

@skippykj: how do you use the rss feed for searching? I'm looking for TRX suspension trainer for discount.

vote-for1vote-against

Does this come with the stand? or just the dumbbells?

vote-for1vote-against

D4PFSE2 worked for me as of 24Mar@0400

vote-for1vote-against

@rpizzle: Hmmmm............ You must be about 6'5 or 6'6. But good for you! You are one of the rare ones! I'm not trying to "discourage people from doing it." I am trying to save people money who won't do it.

vote-for1vote-against

Your laundry just doesn't hang the same off of these as it does on the bowflex machines.

vote-for1vote-against

@ddunnett: Just used the code in your post, it worked for me and saved 159.00 dollars.... Thank You!

vote-for1vote-against

@meow1460: Do a search for "TRX" from the main page and it will pull up the most recent deals. At the top left of the deals list, you will see the rss symbol. Click it and click subscribe. It's a little flaky though. Sometimes a deal will pop up that's been available for months. But don't get discouraged. It'll eventually arrive!

vote-for1vote-against

Just worked at 07:00 Central time. With code D4PFSE2. Happy wooting.

vote-for1vote-against

@meow1460: Do an search (or advanced search) anywhere on deals.woot. Example:
http://deals.woot.com/deals/search?q=trx&sort=mostrecent
At the top left of the search bar, there is a little RSS symbol that will take you to a link for that search in RSS form.
http://deals.woot.com/deals.rss/search?q=trx&page=1&sort=mostrecent

Don't forget to sort by most recent.

@soccerfreak2305: Stand & bench are not included. There are deals with them included, but never at this price.

vote-for1vote-against

Big ups people, been dying for a set, and the order was successful as of 8:15AM 3/24/11 (eastern time).

Might cancel my gym membership and use these along with some daily running. If the weather actually gets warmer and we don't all melt into the sea, that is...

vote-for0vote-against

mrgone must have got the last one! 817a.m. and it says promo has expired! DAMN YOU!

vote-for1vote-against

@assault8: No, after I saw that post the new code D4PFSE2 still is working.
