At just 1ft a piece, it'll kinda be difficult to use in most studios' patch bays. 2-3ft cables are what I use and those can even get stretched sometimes. It really all depends on your personal system and what you're running as to whether 1ft will work for you or not.

Good deal if you buy several of them though.

EDIT: I see that this is an "audio" patch cable, I just always assume network, I suppose. Still, monoprice has plenty of audio or other A/V cables on hand, so worth a look.

@kirk444: Except that for the moment, Monoprice is offline. They had some sort of problem with credit card fraud, and have had the checkout disabled for the last couple of weeks.

These would be great for connecting my pedals if I could choose the color. How could I connect my distortion pedal to my heavy metal pedal to play in my death metal band with a pink patch cable?!

Also, lots of engineers like to color code their studio. Most probably don't want random colors :< Still a good deal if you need some and don't care about the color.

Don't waste your money.eBay has them for 17.99 with FREE shipping 7 days a week.Save $3.00 and yes,you can buy as many as you want!
That said, they are probably too short for most patching.

@crowsnest: seanstin1 is probably talking about their recent "Mystery Box" deal. And when I say recent, I mean most people got theirs recently, the deal was over 3 weeks ago. And most people got the same thing, a crappy "Music Light" which is a fancy book light which retails for $10. The "Mystery Box" was $5 plus $5 shipping- the lights came in a padded envelope (no "box") shipped first class for a little over a buck.

So to recap, they're really slow at shipping, make a huge (percentage-wise) profit on s&h charges, and their idea of a "Mystery Box" is a padded envelope containing something you could get for the same price on Amazon if you spend $25 or more to get the free shipping. It's also worth noting that the "Mystery Box" was offered as a "Music Mystery Box" with the promise of shipping "some instruments, effects, and other pricey items like last time". One guy got a Jaw Harp and Guitar pedal. I guess that counts.

@crowsnest: I have never dealt with such an unresponsive, unprofessional online company. I have ordered a product "the mystery Box" (you got it right!!) from them over a month ago. Never received product AND they wont respond to my emails.. THIS is why they suck
