My fantasy late night scary show mash-up: Twilight Zone content, Outer Limits intro music, all narrated by the Crypt Keeper.
I'd be afraid that if I watched all of these I might wake up the next day and look in the mirror to see I had a pig face.
I bought this for my Dad a couple years ago. It's a really great collection! For the first couple seasons, they left in some commercials for other shows that aired on the same channel. We'd all take bets before they came on about which commercial it would be. Lots of fun XD
@stv6669: There are 24 disks!! The price is very reasonable.
"The Howling Man" is my favorite Twilight Zone episode.
I wonder how much better the BD discs look? I have all the seasons that make up this set and they are very very good quality. I guess if they were remastered from the original 35mm prints then the BD should look better but the few that were kinescopes would gain nothing.
And I agree, for 24 discs I don't find the price all that bad. IMO most downloads are of poor quality and I'd just as soon pay for something that looks decent.
Does this include the episode "The Encounter", which was essentially banned in the US after it's initial broadcast?
@prime suspect: According to that episode's Wiki entry, it should. That must be something; I never saw it myself.
Why pay $120? I'm using my Betamax recorder to record every episode for free on SyFy Channel's Twilight Zone marathon in crisp 250i. Beat that, DVD!
@prime suspect: oh, that was a good one!! Talk about Twilight Zone "twist endings!" I could understand why in the 60's this episode to be banned; but the ending wouldn't be problematic even for the 90's
I expired it because it is $169 now.
