This is more the price I was expecting to see in the lead up to the holidays. If this were USB 3.0, I'd be in for one. Otherwise I will wait.

If you want a 1.5tb drive strictly as a secondary or for a media server, this is a decent deal these days. Just pull the drive out of the case.

If you are planning on using this as an external backup, I would recommend you stick with USB 3.0 (Assuming your motherboard supports it). To backup 1.5tb via USB 2.0 is way too slow.

buy.com is great because if you get or choose Free Shipping there, they ship right away and you usually get it in 2 days from ordering. Amazon, for contrast, seems to hold a Free Shipping order for 10 days before they even ship, then you get it in 2 days after they ship, unless you have their "Prime". (Sorry, woot.)
