@kebrinkman: From other deal sites that picked this up, it looks like Amazon is taking a while to process these now. Some mention it takes over an hour to process and it is fine if it disappears.

Well, it's been 4 hours since I placed my order and still no email. I wonder how long "several hours" is to them. My order has also disappeared from my account.
I tried changing my city so I could buy more... but Amazon just had to stop me:
"You've reached your purchase limit for this deal."

@asianglow: This is a national deal, the city does not matter. In order to buy more you would probably have to use a different Amazon account and probably a different card.
Make sure you un-check the box that subscribes you to the amazon local emails before you submit your order...

Does anybody else think maybe there should be an option on these deals to have Woot send you email updates on comments but limit them to once evey 10 minutes or even once every 10 minutes unless the comment is a reply to one of yours?
I can see something like this being benefical. I sure posting a suggestion like this on a deal page is in bad taste and their is a better place for comments like these but it does seem kind of appropriate here and also I'm bad and live life on the edge.

It took 6 hours, but I finally got my confirmation email and the code can now be accessed from my account.
@ianaberle: Yes, but one would assume that they wouldn't know there was a delay until there was actually a delay; in other words, the delay came first, the announcement second.
This means that some people who ordered before the announcement were delayed without warning.
@bryan3509: I was only given the option to use one of my registered credit cards for the purchase, and I already had a $50 credit in my account (from signing up for their rewards credit card).

I ordered at 9am local time. It's now 5pm and I called up. They said they appreciate my patience as it's taking "longer than expected". 8 hours sure as heck is long! I want to rent a movie tonight!

@gig103: I am in the same boat...almost eight hours and no email...amazing that they dont want my five dollars yet, but it also proves that nothing is truly free, as several of us have stood by in eager anticipation of getting an email...
@makara83 and @gig103: Try going to "Your Vouchers" on the top of the main Amazon Local page. I still haven't gotten my e-mail, but the code was available there.

Just went to the "Your Vouchers" page and my processing order is no longer shown. It looks as though I didn't get billed yet either, let's hope it stays that way if the order just disappeared on me.
Pretty sure this is completely dead ("sold out" message on every page linked in this thread).
@irkingerk: Its happened to a lot of us throughout the day...i dont think they anticipated this much of an influx in response, so they are slowly getting around to the orders as they came in...i had a processing status for about an hour, and now it shows nothing, but the pending charge on the cc still lingers
