I grew up watching this film way before I knew who John Cleese, Michael Palin, Terry Gilliam, or even Sean Connery were. (Discovered Monty Python much later)

This gave me plenty of nightmares as I recall, but I was drawn to watch it over and over anyway. Now I can relive those childhood nightmares for only $5.99 with free shipping!

Snagged. FYI, reviewer consider this very poor transfer, but then they point out it's the same transfer used for every other version of the film. So it's no worse than you'll see anywhere else, and actually much better than DVD. This review has images from both versions:

Don't expect anything close to blu-ray quality video from this release.. Hi-Def Digest ripped this release a new one.. yet another case of a studio doing the absolute bare minimum to get something on the shelf.

I was going to cancel, but I figure for the price might as well wait it out and give it as a late gift whenever it did arrive... and on Monday received notification that it shipped and according to tracking info, is waiting for me at my front door now. Hooray!
