I wooted it up, loved this movie.

John Cleese (Robin Hood): "How long you been a robber?"
Bandit: "Four foot one."
Cleese: "Jolly good. Four foot one? Well that is is a long time, isn't it?"

LOL, great lines in the movie. I'm in for one.

Too good a deal to pass this up.

Snagged. FYI, reviewer consider this very poor transfer, but then they point out it's the same transfer used for every other version of the film. So it's no worse than you'll see anywhere else, and actually much better than DVD. This review has images from both versions:

And shipping is just plain free, no minimum purchase is required.

I meant to buy two until I noticed it was blu-ray. The other person doesn't have blu-ray. I guess I'll just have to watch it myself for about the 50 billionth time...

One of me and my husband's childhood favorites. In for one!

My wife will consider this a waste of $6, but we don't need to tell her.

Not really free shipping. You have to sign up for their $79 a year program.

@jsstewart: You're doing it wrong!

Select 'Standard Shipping (3-5 Business Days)' and the price of shipping will be deducted from your order. Free shipping!

The program you refer to is 'Amazon Prime,' and will get you free 2-day shipping if you join.

BTW they also sent me a $5 amazon on demand promo code when I bought this! Not sure if its automatic, or if everyone gets it, but worth a shot if you are on the fence about parting with 6 bucks.

Don't expect anything close to blu-ray quality video from this release.. Hi-Def Digest ripped this release a new one.. yet another case of a studio doing the absolute bare minimum to get something on the shelf.

Canceled my order - still has not shipped

vote-for1vote-against

I was going to cancel, but I figure for the price might as well wait it out and give it as a late gift whenever it did arrive... and on Monday received notification that it shipped and according to tracking info, is waiting for me at my front door now. Hooray!
