I want one, but don't have time to complete a five hour registration.
edit: OMG, it takes a team 5 hours?

vote-for4vote-against

I had to uncheck the box stating I am over 18 and all that. Wouldn't go through with the box checked.

This is bull(profanity) as it was last time. This is just a cheap site to gather your information to sell or use to annoying you down the road. In for -1, can you please stop sending me (profanity) from last time?

vote-for5vote-against

Isn't this a repost of the same deal from about 6 weeks ago? I already got one from that deal, so they probably won't send me another, but it was definitely good stuff. No jitters or anything and I felt great.

vote-for0vote-against

As a side note, on the main website where you can buy the 5-hour energy, it says you are saving $4,163.05 on the Extra Strength 12-Pack when you buy it there. In for 3! (obviously a typo)

vote-for3vote-against

How are these things?
I grabbed one at the counter the other day.. figured what the hell, might as well try it. Then she said it was $3 bucks lol - so I sat it back down.

So I guess what I'm asking is.. are these $3 good?

I haven't actually looked at the ingredients (which if you know a little about nutritional/herbal/etc stuff you can get a pretty decent idea of how energy stuff compares to eachother)

Either way, n41.

@drchops: I got one when this deal last popped up. It took so long to arrive that I'd forgotten I ordered it when it showed up in the mail. I tried it, and I felt no effects of any kind. I do feel an effect from drinking a Monster or a Red Bull, but this didn't do anything for me at all.

vote-for5vote-against

I got mine a few days ago from the site. They send you a coupon for their website as well. I take the stuff when I need to and it helps to keep you up without forcing you to stay up. you don't get a caffeine rush but you do last longer.

vote-for5vote-against

I just got mine in the mail yesterday (along with the aforementioned coupon). It's 100% legit.

vote-for3vote-against

I'm still waiting on mine from 4 months ago.

vote-for5vote-against

@pitviper33: I actually wrote a pretty long paragraph about monsters/energy drinks but got tired of typing it so I just deleted it lol

Anyways, I drink Monsters too (and everything else).. but did you know monster started making drinks without all of that extra water? They have a couple of 'em - they're called "Extra Strength" and they're actually pretty small..BUT! They have I think the exact same amount of "Energy Blend" as a regular one.

So you get all of the energy without having to pee every 5 minutes lol..

vote-for3vote-against

Actually just got my free sample from them in the mail 2 days ago!

vote-for3vote-against

The website kept losing one of the mandatory check boxes and would not let sign up in either Chrome or iE8. wt__?

vote-for3vote-against

most energy drinks are mostly sugar and caffeine. These have a little caffeine, but no sugar. The "boost" is from massive amounts of B6 and B12 along with a few other things. Big difference between these and the energy drinks... these are better.

vote-for4vote-against

@skrutinizr: The only "energy"* drinks I consume like blue Monster (not green Monster) don't have any substantial amount of sugar. And they have a very noticeable effect to me, while this had none. I'm only one person of course, and other reports differ, but that's my experience.

*It seems ridiculous to call these things energy drinks to me. Energy is not some abstract concept. It's well understood, and the nutritional energy content of foods is even measured and printed on the label ... in Calories. Drinks like 5 hour and blue Monster contain very little. They don't provide you with more energy. They should call them "stimulant drinks".

Make sure you read this! They are not a 5 hour energy company!
Buy5hour.com is an authorized seller of 5-hour ENERGY® branded products. Buy5hour.com is independently owned and operated. The sales, promotions, activity and information provided through the Buy5hour.com website are controlled by the Buy5hour.com management team which is separate and distinct from the 5-hour ENERGY Company.

I use 5 hour Energy. I keep it at my desk. It works great, no jitters and definitely helps me get through the day when it's needed. It's a Michigan based company too, so that might make a bit bias, but it does work great.

vote-for5vote-against

Just buy some liquid caffeine (readily available on the net from, at least two vendors I'm aware of)...and you can make your own energy drinks for a fraction of the cost of one of these. You're welcome.

vote-for4vote-against

This stuff works exactly like it says for most people. Be aware though that it doesn't replace sleep, it just buys you some time when you are really hitting the wall. It has served me quite well.

vote-for3vote-against

I think the only part of it that kept me awake was the nasty taste. I did get a free one on the last round, I'll pass this time though.

vote-for4vote-against

Just got my free sample (pomegranate flavor) in the mail today.

You don't have to give them your real name if you're afraid about giving all that information.

vote-for1vote-against

@majorwest: Please tell me where I can find a reliable seller for this mythical nectar of the gods!

vote-for1vote-against

@majorwest: I found Caffein Pills a few weeks ago. Similar idea. I put them in my glove compartment for long rides off into the night

vote-for1vote-against

Caffein and Vitamin B.....
Since when did these two things become expensive?

vote-for2vote-against

I like 5 Hour Energy's blend, it's the only one that has actually helped me feel more awake, alert and energetic within minutes. I've tried other brands (6 Hour Power, Worx, NOS, Full Throttle) and they do absolutely nothing for me.

vote-for1vote-against

The 99 Cents Only Store carries like 3 or 4 different little energy bottles that are the exact same size and shape as this and have pretty much the same exact ingredients in the same proportions (8333% B12, etc.) and they're only 99.99 cents. Since there are so many brands pretty much putting out the same thing in the same containers with different labeling, I'm thinking that there is one company that produces this stuff for all the various brands.

vote-for1vote-against

Thanks for the heads up, I signed up for one. :D

Disclaimer: I do not work for 5-Hour Energy... I am just a consumer of the product... also... Grape is the best flavor :-)

The idea behind 5-Hour Energy is to keep you from getting worn out. I am not a coffee drinker and have one "5-Hour Energy" each morning (although I switched to the Quik Trip Brand since it is $0.50 cheaper per bottle).

You shouldn't feel a rush of energy, you shouldn't get the jitters (unless your body does not like/agree with/may have an alergy to something in the product. The idea is to look back at your day and say... wow, I didn't get tired like I normally do. You should feel alert and ready to go... just not hyper. If you feel differently than I described here... don't continue to take the product (I don't think it works the exact same for all people).

While it is worth a try in my opinion... I don't know about this deal. It's not uncommon to send out a free trial of a product and use that information to try to generate sales.

vote-for1vote-against

Mine just showed up.. 2 days. (well, 3 I guess).

Awesome.

vote-for1vote-against

@drchops: If this contains caffeine, you're going to pee just the same (equal amount of caffeine in both products). But the one with less water will just make you more dehydrated.

vote-for1vote-against

@clumpymold: I'm not sure that's 100% accurate..

So..You're saying somebody who drinks a gallon of water and consumes lets say 75mg of caffeine and somebody who drinks 1oz of water and 75mg of caffeine are going to pee the same amount?

vote-for0vote-against

Just ordered it. I didn't have to do that 5 Hour thing. It did give me an error but said I was entered. I love samples!

vote-for1vote-against

@drchops: Not sure about extreme cases like that but I would surmise drinking, say, 4oz of fluid vs. 12oz of fluid, along with almost 200mg of caffeine (roughly the amount in a 5 hour energy drink), both drinkers would urinate roughly the same. But I haven't done any studies to prove this. This is just based on reading about caffeine (and alcohol), both diuretics.
