Elsewhere (including Amazon) for $100.00. Like the built-in sharpener option on the storage block. Add $5.00 for shipping and about $2.50 for sales tax. My total came to $43.41. Still looks like a good deal and glad I'm in for 1.

Seems rather nice. I need a knife set so I will be picking these up.

Just bought it. Really excited, not expecting greatness but has to be better than the crappy knives I have currently.

@kvellano: Probably comparable. When I was so much younger than today, Sabatier was one of the premier knife brands, but I'm not sure about today. As a rule, carbon steel blades are easier to keep an edge on (if you use the steel every time), but stainless don't rust, which makes for easier maintenance. OTOH, good stainless is better than bad carbon steel, so it comes down to whether Sabatier has come down to KitchenAid levels. FWIW, the KitchenAid block has the knives on their sides, instead of blade down, which is probably a good thing.
