This is not an advertised sale. The Borders (physical store) by me - Cleveland- had all these for 40% off. The may be going to 50% off on 8/25. These prices aren't exact, I'm just going off memory and am to lazy to do math... I bought a few Kobo touches for some friends and family

My sister called me to ask if these were good prices for the Kobo. I advised that, from what I could see they were good prices. Then I told her how much new ebooks cost and she was a little surprised to say the least. Silly sister, thought just cause the publishers didn't have to pay for ink and paper and binding and shipping the ebooks would be priced like MP3s.

I am guessing she didn't get one. Would be interested in what the rest of you think about these.

Also, Apple and 5 publishing companies are currently being sued for price fixing of ebooks so prices may be falling soon...

Geez, why so negative?

You have to vote up more before you can vote down.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
