remember Duke Nukem Forever came out on August and it cost $55. So sad how its only $5 now after only 4 months of release.
Psychonauts is also only $2.49, and can be used to get an entry in the gift give-away
@thecheeseman: Thanks for the tip on Psychonauts - hoping it works better than the Oddworld Xbox ports. Went ahead and got the Costume Quest with it as that looks like one the kids will enjoy.
@irestmycace: haha! Good point. I was sucked in by nostalgia and got it for $15. I wish I had waited because I've only played a couple hours of it. Not that bad, just got busy. Worth $5 for sure IMO.
I picked up Audiosurf and Orcs Must Die yesterday. Freakin awesome!
Picked up the new Duke Nukem for $5 out of sheer morbid curiosity. I probably won't even get around to playing it for several months.
@irestmycace: DNF came out in June. You still have a good point though. It's unbelievable how fast it came down. I paid full price for the PC version ($50), however, I don't regret it. I'd been following its development since the beginning and was really excited about it's release. While it certainly didn't turn out as good as I was hoping it didn't deserve the horrible reviews it got. It's a solid game and certainly well worth $5.
@fret0426: Psychonauts was a pretty good port, though you really should try to play with a 360 controller if you want it to feel comfortable. Even then, I found the way they set up the button bindings was a bit confusing. Then again, the play control/platforming isn't the best part of the game, it's definitely the characters and the dialogue.
