Many movies and TV shows to choose from. I picked up Monk, Season 8 for $17.99 where Best Buy was selling it for $49.95.

This isn't really a deal, per se. If you comb the Sunday ads, you can find these prices on movies and box sets at one big box store or another at least once a month. The prices are great on some things, but don't feel especially compelled to grab them now, because they'll be back again in a few weeks.

I appreciate the notice. I did scan the Target ad on Sunday, and they didn't show nearly the selection. I'm picking up a few that caught me eye. Thanks!

@stark: Price on movies may not be that great, but the price of the television sets are. I haven't seen a season set on sale that low before. For Monk, I would have paid twice that at Best Buy or even DeepDiscount.

You have to vote up more before you can vote down.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
