Home Depot had this in store a few weeks ago for $10. It's not on their website, but may still be in stores. Still a good here though.

edit: Actually, the Home Depot was 24 AA and 24 AAA combo pack

This deal breaks down to 25 cents per battery.

Couple alternatives:

I saw in Lowes, they had some generic brand alkaline battery packs that are a little cheaper, for a larger quantity.
100 AA or AAA for $20, which breaks down to 20 cents per battery.

And Harbor Freight regularly has sales on their generic brand alkaline batteries.
Their sale price for 24 AA or AAA is $4, which breaks down to 17 cents per battery.
Their regular price is $5, which breaks down to 21 cents per battery.

@superninja: Lowe's very rarely has those on sale for anywhere near price. And, As much as I like Harbor Freight, they're batteries don't last long.

Awesome price for batteries! Love Rayovac, made in the USA and they always last as long, if not longer, than Energizer or Duracell.

They ran this deal before Christmas for $10 and I grabbed a box of each. Nice batteries, perform just fine for my uses. At $12 still a nice deal in my opinion. Not sure if they actually perform as well as Energizer and Duracell as they say, but they are a whole lot better than drug store brands and others I've tried. I'm happy with them at this price. And shipping was surprisingly fast.
