@mortar235: Yes, unfortunately, thinkgeek is very proud of there shipping. I just follow the woot philosophy of always buying three of everything. In this case I purchased 6 of the ornaments.

Actually I was thinking of buying this for a friend, so with that low of a price I didn't mind making up for it on the shipping. Perfect timing, thanks!

Bought two of these. First one didn't work at all. Second one is so quite there would have to be absolute silence in the room for anyone to hear the noises it makes.

Stullerc: really? Disregarding the one that didn't work...... THAT IS THE WHOLE POINT! Not much of a prankster are you?

I think a prank needs to work to be successful. If no one can hear the annoying sounds then whats the point. It might as well be a regular ball ornament. I had it hanging two feet from my ear at my desk and I could barely hear it, put it in a tree an no one outside of the tree would be able to hear it. I'm not sure if you understand the way this prank works, but if no one can hear then FAIL!

Oh, I get it. I'm imagining a family hanging out after gifts and cuddling in, when someone, probably a child first, will start to hear something.... (picture the squirrel scene from Christmas Vacation) Moving closer to the tree, they faintly hear and elf giggle.... the child then gets more people involved in the search for the sound... "You hear that?"..."Yeah, I kind of do..., what is it?" (I'm playing this out in my head too much) Anyway, next thing you know the entire family is looking in the tree... funny right? Now it would be amazing if they could make a squirrel bust out of the ornament. That sir, would be comedy.
