$160 is the price by the way

...and that's for the 16GB Zune HD.

Wouldn't really call the car charger a 80 dollar value when it goes for 30 on amazon, i actually picked up a car charger/zune over radio thingy for 8 bucks awhile back

And the 64 GB Zune HD is $283.16 on Amazon, compared to $305.99 on Walmart....no deal.

Summary: Walmart sells items around Amazon's prices. Nothing to see here, folks.

@pxb006: You seem to be forgetting the Car Pack that Wal-mart is including in the bundle offer.

Amazon's prices are the $283.16 for the 64 Zune HD and an additional $53.67 for the car pack. Making it a nice grand total of $329.85.

Wal-mart's price $305.99, compared to $329.85 on Amazon.....deal

For those of us who have no car, no deal. Although, I suppose I could sell the car kit.

@milkman1225: I found the Car Pack on Amazon for $14.99 with free shipping. Makes total $298.15...No deal :-)

@pxb006: I did see that one but it looks like one of the original ones they produced for the pretty brown original Zune. However, that one isn't exactly the same as the Wally World bundle. I just chose to compare equals.

But a deal is a deal and both the options are. ;)

I just wanted to add, even though I'm an iPod fan through and through, my ex had the 16 gig one and it is really cool, thin, and easy to use. They aren't making Zunes anymore, so you will probably continue to see better and better deals in the coming months.

I have the 16gb Zune HD and it's great! Zune Software is also less of a resource-hog than iTunes.

@ikickedagirl: Seriously. Sad enough to say it, Zune = Dead Platform.

Why do people still buy MP3 players? A 32Gb memory card in the smartphone you already own does the same thing except now you only have to carry and operate one device.

The UI is also a good reason to buy a zune over using your cell phone. I am biased toward the zune, but of the MANY different mp3 players I've had over the years (including ipods) Zune is my favorite. Have you tried to use an android phone as an MP3 player? Forget battery life, the MP3 players are junk.

Get the best of all worlds. Windows 7 phones include the slick Zune interface (for "All you can eat/on-the-go" Zune subscription music), have expandable storage and decent battery life. My son bought the Samsung Focus for AT&T and no longer uses his 16 GB Zune HD because this is just too convenient!

Not to mention... the Windows 7 phones allow you to use bluetooth headsets which is a capability the Zune HD is missing. I know... I know... everyone is going to say that the bandwidth for bluetooth is not well suited for music but I must say... using my Motorokr bluetooth paired with the Samsung Focus produces fidelity that is almost on-par with my 32 GB Zune HD. I don't notice any difference, but that may be from listening to music too loud when I was a kid which somewhat dulled my sense of hearing.

$160!!! yay! I love false advertising! 64 Gb zoon is $305 -- rip-off. . .

just saw the 16GB Zune HD is back again at Retrevo, $89.99 (can't beat free shipping and no tax except CA). I missed it last time but got the 32GB version, but this seems like a killer deal.
