This is annoying, I just got one of these for $90!

[Edit: Correction...I got the Ultra portable one for $90, so I'm no longer annoyed...didn't realize this was the desktop version. But I digress!]

Just my opinion along with many others...

These are TERRIBLE, do not waste your money. They NAS feature, which is probably the reason you're buying it, sucks. Check the CNET reviews if you don't believe me, I returned mine the same day.

I got mine as a means for storage for my toshiba thrive. I'm just not sure if there'll be enough power from the thrive to power the ultra portable drive.

I bought one of these and it failed after 3 months. I wont buy SeaGate again. Their drives have been notorious for failing as of recent. Just look at the reviews for it on Amazon.
