Thanks OP! Been holding out on a few comparable drives at $12-$15, but <$10 is too good to pass up!

I have three of these in the 32GB flavor that I'm using for offsite (in the office and elsewhere) backup of critical files. These are semi-hardened and more water resistant than most.
You can use TrueCrypt to encrypt the entire drive, throw on 16 GB worth of personal files (important stuff: tax and personal documents, family photos, financials) then leave it at work in case your house burns down, goes into a sinkhole, gets wiped out in a hurricane or tornado, or gets occupied by aliens or zombies.

It would appear that the mail-in rebate and free shipping also applies to the 32 GB version of this drive, dropping the price of that to $16.99.

@jfmajo Correct. I purchased the 32GB version last Monday, got it in 3 days. Sent in the rebate yesterday. It's a rubber casing, and appears nice. Haven't loaded anything on to it yet.

These are excellent drives. If you actually keep it on your keychain as I do, you WILL lose the cap.

Definitely getting a 32GB. After the mail in rebate, you get an awesome deal for dollar per GB.

I refuse to buy anything with a MIR. I will just wait till the price drops...which will not be long considering how fast the prices are dropping on pin drives lately.

@wilfbrim: I don't think my tax information would really be all that useful to zombies?
