I got one of these the first time they were up on woot. Like it says, it's the finest projector you can buy for 30 bucks. Is it worth it though? In my opinion, yes, it does what it says it will and unless you are expecting a crisp clear image you won't be disappointed for the price you pay. There's no lag time to worry about in game play so that is not an issue. I used it to play some games off my phone, and as far as pixelized 8 bit and 16 bit games go, it blurs them a bit, I tested out my ps2 on it and it didn't seem to be too much of an issue with that. I haven't tried watching movies yet but those would probably look alright as well. Yeah, getting this leaves me a lot of room for wanting more, but it's a pretty neat gizmo for the price.

I couldn't stand how blurry the images were. Not even close to standard-definition. Contrast was horrific in all but the darkest of rooms. I can't say I expected much more for $30, but it's hardly functional.

does this one come with external speakers like the previous woot deals?

i really want this so bad ugh

I just got 2... 1 for me because I don't want a flat panel and one to donate to the North Orange County YWCA

Dont waste your money - I bought one expecting poor quality since its so cheap - it was so blurry I couldnt find a use for it - gave it away to my young sisters and they couldnt find a use for it. Very poor quality

I got one awhile back and I love it!
Every bad word that has ever been said about it is 100% true. But you can't compare this to any other projector, no flat screen tv's not even your 13 in CRT monitor.

If you try to project a huge screen, on a wall that is rough, with lights that are on. You may as well throw the thing in the trash and act out the movie you want to see.

BUT, when used on a SMOOTH glossy surface, and only project about 30". Its works great! still not comparable to a tv. But this does what a tv cannot. I project this onto the ceiling above my bed and watch movies while my wife is sleeping.
She hates it and says it hurts her eyes to watch, but it works and when you cant afford another projector than this thing rocks.

Oh and about those speakers that used to come with it, don't waste your time with those. I threw mine in the trash with the box they came in. They were broken at the first use, one didn't work the other sounded horible.

I love how people put spam/advertisement in totally random crap, that has nothing to do with the junk they're peddling.

Kinda like...oh I dunno, MAKEUP on a deal for a childs PROJECTOR lol, it is irritating, but it's still pretty damn funny

@nate800: Did you use the focus wheel by where the light is emitted? I thought it was blurry too until I read the directions and found the focus wheel. Now it looks decent and doesn't hurt my eyes at all.

interesting Amazon also offers the pricier version which looks like a mirror image of this one.I wonder if it's any better quality. Not much specs on either.
