I almost want one just because it LOOKS cool, and I don't even camp. EVER.

I'm super stoked about this deal. I'm an ultralight backpacker and this is a great stove. I've been looking for something that is more substantial than a alcohol stove and wont break my back or my bank. stoked.

I agree. I want one and I haven't been camping for over 10 years. But maybe I'd go if I had something to cook with?

Not sure about this one but I have a MSR whisperlite.

While in Army, I use to carry it in my buttpack while in field. I've had it since 1994 and used it hundreds of times in the sticks, sandbox and home while camping, and it still works like the first day I got it. Used coleman fuel, kerosene and JP8 in it over the years. Best stove ever..

@trebor26726: We thought so too. Changed until we have an update.

I was wondering how this thing works.

@shrdlu: Agreed. It looks like a Klingon weapon or something.

@Adeptus: Actually, it does have the stark beauty of something elegant, and deadly. I'm close to buying it because of its looks. I'm just that shallow.

This is a great stove. I have a tiny MSR but this one looks even smaller. Great price too! Might be worth picking one up as a backup.

THe MSR Whisperlite looks like it needs a support with a fuel can on the side. The neat thing about this stove is that the fuel can IS the support. Saves you that much more space. When folded up, this stove fits in the palm of your hand.

I have one of these and can say it is one of the best stoves for most campers that want a Isobutane stove that is super light. It is a small stove though and only good for a soloist, it is to small to ballance a big pot on easily so it is not aproperate for group cookouts.
