Basically it's an agreement to play Wow for the next year. If you agree and pay to play for a year any way you choose you get Diablo 3 for free.

12 * 14.99 = 179.88 (1-Month)
12 * 13.99 = 167.88 (3-Month)
12 * 12.99 = 155.88 (6-Month)

Not a huge deal but it's not bad either. If you play WoW.
In theory you could get it cheaper if you can find time cards cheaper.

EDIT: For those interested Diablo 3 is $59.99 at amazon. So a year of WoW for $95.89 or something like that.

Actually, its legit:

A: You'll be able to download and play Diablo III as soon as it's available and once you complete the one-year term, it's yours to keep, even if you cancel your subscription.

This means you get D3 for free when it comes out, and once you complete the year of wow, you get to keep D3. Otherwise I suspect they will cancel your access number, since you need it to get on battle net. Its possible you will be able to play D3 offline regardless, but thats not specified.

If you play wow, theres no reason not to do it, you get a free mount or whatever in the game too.

@rsnyc: It does not even have a launch date, and based on previous releases It probably will not be released until november anyways.
