Does this carry the same warranty as Craftsman tools, a free lifetime replacement (if broken)? The cheap ones we buy in my house, at this same price, break within a month.

@gregorylikescheapstu: I believe that warranty only applies to hand tools. It seems like craftsman is just selling its name to cheap chinese stuff these days. Although this item does have good reviews on the sears website.

Deal is still alive! It's 4.99 at Sears.com.

What's the trick, are you just clicking on "I want one"??

Still showing $9.99 for me!

Not RIP. Click on "I want one!" and it say $9.99. After adding to cart it will be $4.99. To avoid shipping you have to pick up and there must be stock at your location.

Still works, just ordered one

I want one and the link still work straight to 4.99 bliss!

every time i click it it says 4.99, then for the total it says 9.99 for the total and 6.95 shipping.... :( not available for pickup unless I drive 1 hour, would be a cool deal though, the handle broke off my old nozzle

Never got these things. I'm 65. They started selling this carp when I was in my twenties. Had a few. Can't set them exactly where you want them, get cramps in your fingers, they die quickly, leave the hose in the driveway and they shatter when you drive over them by accident...

Sorry, I'll take the old fashioned brass nozzles. Can't break them, they last forever, you set the spray exactly where you want it and it stays there, no cramps cuz you only hold the nicely rounded hose and just point it where you want it.

At half the price.

When I was a kid in Florida these things were the pinnacle of garden hose play. Mist setting was like some spiritual awakening...

Deal is dead. Now 9.99 at Sears.

@garyoa1: You must have forgotten how to read in your old age. You can set this one to where you want it and it stays there. It's made of metal, unlike the cheap plastic ones you're thinking of. They're ergonomic and have comfort grip so you don't ruin your hands/wrists trying to hold it. It also has 10 patterns, rather than 1 pattern that can vary in size.

@luisibarra81: It's not just for hand tools (it applies to hoses, for instance) but I'm not sure if it applies to this thing. And yeah, they sell manufacturing to the cheapest bidder because of overhead from handing out free tools in exchanges.
