Magnet inside the clock moves the moon - which acts as the hour hand - around the earth to mark the time. Markers on the dial note the minutes. It's very simple, with one moon moving around the clock, acting as neither an hour or minute hand, but rather both. There are three markings for each hour, each representing twenty minutes. When the moon is a marking past 3 o'clock, it is 3:20, and so on.

This is neat, but my OCD causing me to notice the incorrect scale, distance, path of orbit, length of orbit prevent me from purchasing it.
