Chuck is awesome but the internet is making dvds obsolete. There have been tons of dvds on big sales on Woot. Do I really want another series dvd box set to deal with.

Internet is to dvds what dvds were to vhs

Chuck is an awesome show and you can't really beat $15. I'm willing to dedicate some bookshelf space to it.

Yeah I have too many great shows sitting on the entertainment center Life, Entourage, Oz, Dead Like Me, Big Bang Theory, Arrested Development, Life on Mars, among others. Most we might watch once every year or two. I love Chuck we DVR it every week. But I've just been noticing how the price of dvds has plummeted in the last 6 months. Netflix instant view and similar tv and movie sites. You will be able to watch what you want when you want . It will be more efficient than having to take care of multiple dvds.

Also its only free shipping if you have prime and you spend another $10 to qualify.

@whitlock929 DVD's are going to be around for a long time. The notion that the internet is making DVD's obsolete just isnt true. The overwhelming majority still watch their media through means other than the internet, such as physical media or subscription television (i.e. cable, satellite, etc.). Aside from which, unless net neutrality happens, there is no way any family will make the switch from cable based TV/movies to internet based tv/movies, because most ISP's have made it abundantly clear that they are unwilling to upgrade their infrastructure to meet demands, and would rather throttle/cap/block your internet usage, or charge both yourself and the providers of the content (i.e. netflix, hulu, etc.) extra fees for delivery, which is going to kill internet based media before it has a chance to take off. So you can look forward to at least another 10+ years of physical media before we even come close to a world where streaming media online beyond short web videos is mainstream.

Downloading has already taken a huge chunk out of cd sales. The same thing is inevitable with dvds movies and tv as hard drives and data storage improves exponentially. Prices don't drop like this unless there is prooportional drop in demand. Writing is on the wall

Chuck is a great show and season 2, in particular, was amazing.

I'd buy this if I already didn't.
