Ghostbusters Proton Pack Backpack for $19.98
Available from Amazon for $35.74, so this is a great deal!
This awesome tan backpack features a front screen of the particle accelerator pack on the main compartment, a detachable zip pouch designed like a nuetrona wand, padded adjustable straps and a comfortable padded back.
This looks fun but my intense hatred for Hot Topic will definitely keep me from buying it. CURSE YOU HOT TOPIC!......curse...yo.u....
@kickpunch: my husband HATES HotTopic, but fell in love with this item. sometimes, you need to let go of your "principles" lol
Damn and i just ordered this 3 weeks ago from amazon.... smh
They need to make one of these a Camelbak. I would then fill it with Monster and then attach UV lights around the hose and nozzle to make it glow of awesomeness.
@smtatertot13: you let your husband walk around in public wearing a proton pack backpack? He must get all sorts of wedgies during recess.
@portezbie: admittedly, we didn't actually buy this item. but ONLY because it's the kind of thing that would live in our closet and would only see light when we had people over who would appreciate it.
as for being worried about my husband being labeled a "nerd", there's no hiding it. he is a nerd. i am a nerd. we're okay with it :D
Hot Topic items are usually not that well constructed. If you get this bag, don't be surprised if it starts separating at the seams after a few months' use; aka, for a kid, it probably wouldn't even last out the school year.
But if you want it for what it is--a novelty item--by all means go ahead.
SO, why all the hatred towards Hot Topic? Did I miss something?
@cjweiss06: So many haters!
Even though Hot Topic is for Jr. High kids who are desperately trying to discover their identity, this backpack is a great deal. I have looked around and the backpack sells for $36-49 on the web. This is by far the best price that I have seen for the pack. Fortunately you can get this bag online so that you don't need to worry about being seen in Hot Topic.
@nm3210: You can get 'spare' Camelbak bladders/hoses, you know. It's fairly easy to mod a normal backpack with one.
And Monster? Really? Bleargh.. I'd fill mine with Throwback Dew.
Mmmmmm Throwback Dew.....Brb need to go to the store.
Problems getting chicks?
Problem solved.
I hope at least one parent buys this for their kid...I hope even more that it's a kid in highschool :)
On the same note, if you're a dude in highschool and you buy this for YOURSELF...you'll be a legend. A Ferris Bueller sized legend.
Hot Topic is lame per se...
Is nothing sacred?
