Wasn't this on the list of the worst products made in the past decade or something?

Are you serious? Well, i guess for those people who really can't cut a straight line... and don't own a RULER and a PEN...

Right-handed scissors are the work of the devil.

I have one of those. The laser reflects on the scissors when cutting. It doesn't seem to be very safe. It is a waste of time. Who can't cut in a straight line?

MAYBE if the laser was the thing cutting the paper then sure I'd get it... otherwise this is just cheap gimmick. =/

@gdemkow: Only for cut and paste functionality.

Maybe I'm missing something, but if you turn the scissor, doesn't the laser beam follow and project a nice line in the wrong direction? How does this work?

Useful for when your laser cats need a trim.

As if I didn't have enough trouble keeping my cat away from sharp pointy objects...

I wish it was a scissor guided laser.

This is just what I have been looking for .
Thank you , Dr J. Wilhem .

Got one of these at Target after Christmas for my girlfriends' father. He loves flashlights and laser pointers. Great joke but he really liked it. Everyone who sees it has to play with it. Light is like the laser jig saws. Good for cutting stright lines on large things like wrapping paper without drawing lines.
