Vizio 37” 1080p LCD HDTV for $524.99 + shipping
The Vizio 37” 1080p LCD HDTV is endorsed by the Association of American Mosquitos, who’d like you to remember: when you’re enjoying HDTV, you won’t notice they’re biting you… UNTIL IT’S TOO LATE
Not bad for a 1080p 37", though at Costco, you can get the same price.
This does seem like a really good deal, especially for those who don't have the clubs near us like Costco. :)
Costco = tax.
Costco = 3 year warranty. I think it's worth paying the tax. I bought the 32" Vizio from Costco and it's a great TV.
this is a pretty good price with a good warranty if you get it from costo
costco has this similarly priced with an excellent return policy. That said, if you don't have a costco near you, this and olevias are the best 'bargain' HDTV
Again a Costco comment, Currently they have a 1080p 42" at $499, and as previously mentioned 3 yr warranty.
I bought the VA320M from Costco in Sep/2009 for $450 before tax and CA E-Waste fee of $16.
It's a good set for the guest bedroom.
I don't think I would have paid more for 120/240 Hz since I was shopping for something under $500 and I already have a smaller Vizio for the kitchen which I like.
Not a bad price but not a fan of Vizio. I and a few others I know have owned Vizio TV's and you really do get what you pay for. They tend to look good with a good source but when you try and watch non-HD through them they don't hold water to some of the name brand models. But, if you're looking for a cheap TV they work, however I prefer getting them from Costco due to the return policy and warranty.
Have had a Vizio 46" for nearly 2 yrs and it's been great when the signal is decent - Now with FIOS and lots of HD channels can't stand to look at regular definition TV. Thinking of a larger one for the living room and putting the old one in the Bedroom - will need to get another FIOS HD box,
this strikes me as a mediocre deal
I have a 42" Vizio and I love it. I think overall (and there are some independant reviews out there to support this) that Vizio offers the most bang for the buck.
bestbuy or walmart has a 50" for $599 i believe. why would i buy a 32".
With the countdown to Festivus upon us prices of these things should be headed down.
What the world needs is a decent 19 inch $100 TV !! Forget the cheap laptops; bring on a good, cheap TV! ferdy
the costco warranty makes it even sweeter deal
Agreed. Not bad. Also have seen sbetter deals
Same price at Sam's Club... Good tv...
I have 2 Vizio HDs. Best TV for the money!
Did some checking about a month ago on prices for LCD flat screens and this was by far the leader in quality. It came on the market a couple years ago but is a hot seller still at a lower price and Deals.Woot has the lowest out there.
Why get a 37-inch TV when you could get a larger one? Existing furniture. And this works really well in those cabinets that housed those bulkier CRT TVs of the past. And so much easier to move around. This has three HDMI and one component input so it's quite nice.
I have a 23" 1080i Vizio from Woot and am very happy with it. This is a great deal for a 37" LCD 1080p. What impresses me about Vizio is that setup is easy and their remote control is a marvel of simplicity.
I have this same TV and it's pretty nice...about as nice as every other TV the same size.
Not a great deal, but a solid TV.
I bought this same TV at a discount store...either Costco, or Sams...I can't recall which. Mine was an open box buy...with no stand, and I paid $500, which makes this a pretty good deal!! So far I love the TV...no problems!
There are far too many choices for decent HDTVs this year... I can't decide what I want to do!
I have a 37" Vizio hooked up to AT&T U-verse. The HD looks great and the regular signal looks much better than cable. I've had it for a little over 2 years without any problems.
Some Vizio's seem better than others. I'd want to see it myself first.
As a Vizio out of warranty tech...I would buy only a refurb as then and only then I would trust the components within the shell...jusy my $.02
This is a good deal for the price. You can't count on the Walmart and Black Friday deals, as there may only be one in the store. Besides, when you click through, there is another deal waiting for Wooters, in the form of a 20 in. LCD for under $200.
Have toagree with all the Costco comments. The price there i the same AND you get the 3 year warranty included in that price.
The site though is great!!
@bookertim: Thanks Bookertim. We are not going to lead wooters on the site and only have 3 available. We will fill up to 400 tv's at this price for you guys. Remember, no sales tax unless you are in NY, and FREE shipping.
Considering this one, although looking through the Black Friday sale ads may produce a better deal.
Good price, and good picture. But only two things I don't like are the lighted logo at the bottom and the ugly square design.
The Walmart black Friday prices seem better.
With it being so close to Black Friday, I am sure there will be better prices.
I bought this at Costco for the same price (as others have said), and I love the TV. Fantastic. If you don't have a Costco convenient, go for it.
not the best deal, think i will wait till friday
I have a 22" Vizio I bought through Sellout.woot.com and I love it!!! I'm guessing this is just as good only bigger.
Online vs. brick and mortar... the debate rages on.
@alwaysru: It's ok
great for games
Bought this at wal-mart a couple years ago. Not a bad tv good size... picture quality is good.. no problems so far.
Not a bad deal for the price. Vizio is a decent brand and is a good value for he price.
Nice TV, but my WOT says it's not a trustworthy site.
If only it were a 47 instead of a 37 I would be all over it (wouldn't we all)
Like has been mentioned, I would rather deal with Costco. They seem to take great care of their customers and if you have a problem with the set, they will help you get it settled.
Good deal? I think not. I was just over at the Sams Club about three days ago and saw 37in Widescreen 1080i's for less then 130. and they were Sanyo so they were a name brand. for another 30. you got a 3 year repair or replace warranty IN HOME!
If I would have had enough I would have got my mom the TV I promised her but due to earlier Xmas shopping, my bank account was just a little low. I am going back over and if they have this in the Ft Wayne Ind store, you bet mom is going to get her a new TV.
I just picked up a Vizio a couple of weeks ago from Walmart's website. Love the TV, but this seems to be a high.
Seems like a good deal, but probably available at some of the big box discount stores. If saving money on a 37" HDTV is the goal, then a 720p is probably a better deal (if you can find one), since the video image quality at that size is not distinquishable from a 1080p.
