I told you man, we're operating on the same wavelength.

You an' Me both beat out @bmw66w by a minute :P

Lowest it's been on amazon, closest it's been was $39.99.

@cowboydann: I feel bad. In fact I thought about deleting mine when I saw his but I'm not that nice I guess.

@gideonfrost: Kirby like creature flipping a table. It is used to express a spike in mild anger.

Next time, use some TAGS they help people search.

And I preordered Mass Effect 3 why? What really, really frosts my cake is that I had to wait 4 weeks to play on my Xbox. Why? The stupid import bug, which was somewhat (but not completely) fixed after that length of time.

Bioware has not been helping itself in the last year. The original Dragon Age was very well recieved, the sequel was met with a tremendous "meh", ME1 was good, ME2 was incredible, but now ME3 is getting the dual beat down from the import bug and fans furious at the ending. I also hear that The Old Republic isn't doing that well, either:

The ending... isn't great. But it isn't a deal breaker, either. Heck, the underappreciated multiplayer is worth $30 alone.

@mortuorum: Kind of my point. This is worth 30, easy. It wasn't worth the 80 I paid for the pre-order limited edition. Yes, I am a sucker. But I think this time I learned my lesson: no more preorders.

This is about the 4th or 5th game I was REALLY hyped about...and like y'all paid for the uber-release...only to see it drop to about half not even 3 weeks later.

Raccoon City is $29 at BB...Grrr..my youngest son saved up to get the presale and paif full price...

ME3 is...ok..you kind of know what to expect. The audio command has a learning curve (and don't try it in a crowded venue) but once you get it down it does work well.

The ending? Yeah...not to spoil but kind of stupid...

Anyone see the Fallout 3 / Oblivion Dual pack that just came out? Good package for someone who wants both....

@wilfbrim: Oh..what about the $130 Ultimate Edition Fallout : New Vegas? That was a turd compared to Fallout 3.

AND...the Ultimate Edition Skyrim at $140? New Egg was blowing those out for less than half about a month ago (the one with the big resin dragon statue).

The ONLY Ultimate pack I got I really loved was the night vision goggles one with COD : MW2....SaWeeeeet! Oh..and getting the "Elite" upgrade to MW3 was worth it also...gotta love all those maps...

I would love to get this, but don't know if I can justify it seeing as I haven't even finished ME2 and have a large backlog of games. Any thoughts on how long it will take to drop to $20? Should I just grab it now?

vote-for1vote-against

@undrpsi: We need to send a message to the gaming industry. We don't want $60 games any more. This would have been a day 1 purchase for me at $40 but I'm glad I waited for it to drop to $30 instead. They wouldn't need to keep dropping the price so quick if it just started there. It's people like you undrpsi, fans of their games, who they're out to screw. They know that they can rip you guys off and you'll keep coming back. Then after they over charge you they drop it to a price point that's reasonable for the rest of us.
Also, at $30-$40 (and DRM free) you can bet piracy will almost disappear. And Gamestop won't be able to make the huge margin that they're currently making.

@wnyx585am: It'll be cheap come the end of the year, if you're patient enough to wait that long. I snagged ME2 in the release year for $15, I think, during the Steam holiday sale. Intend to the do the same with this.

vote-for1vote-against

@wnyx585am: Just get it now. Once you're done with ME2, you'll want to jump right into ME3.

@tcanning, @snoopjedi: I went ahead and caved and bought it. I am getting it for Xbox 360, so Steam sales won't help me. Considering ME2 still sells for $20, I figure it will be awhile before ME3 gets there.

Of course, i'm sure i'll be kicking myself in a couple of months when I haven't started playing it yet... :)

@wnyx585am: newegg is selling ME2 right now for $12.99 with free shipping. I am shocked at the meteoric price plunge for ME3 when games like Skyrim and MW3 are still holding onto their $60 pricetag.
