Do not purchase from Myspoonfuls.
I did ,thur Woot at the start of March and received a congratulation letter on 3/6/14 stated here is my purchase gift cards ,but none were set .So after many emails to customer service and three phone calls I still have NO gift cards...

@jagodard1959: this particular combo does not work for us, but we got a previous combo within 5 business days (California to midwest) and others have likewise posted they got theirs in a timely fashion. Hopefully your experience is an exception.

Already spent the $20 gift card and nicking away at the $6.95 we need to save using the $50 Dining Dollars.

@jagodard1959: I have had a similar experience as @bluemaple. The gift cards arrived quickly and are already spent. Have you tried to ping them here? They are typically very responsive and helpful.

As I've noted here before, we've purchased a total of four deals and have received everything fairly promptly -- one week for one, about 10-12 days for the other three.

I'd just like to say that @spoonfuls is one of the most responsive (and responsible) #sponsored vendors that we've seen since @erikadyscern (who was respected, and appreciated, and posted one of my favorite brief farewells).

I seldom see anything bad from anyone on the Spoonfuls deals, and it's usually met with quick responses from @spoonfuls. I have no interest in the offerings (I almost never eat out, and I go to movies even less often), but I've just been very impressed with the way things are handled. In a time when we've seen some really shady vendors show up as #sponsored deals, it's nice to see a good one.

Also, everyone gets an upvote. Well, almost everyone... No downvote (not from me, anyway), but no upvote either.

You get an upvote, skip one, you get an upvote, and you get an upvote. ;-}

@jagodard1959: Very sorry to hear that... I was not made aware of this can you please give your order # and email K.mcardle@myspoonfuls.com and we will give you a full refund immediately.

Thanks,

@bluemaple: Thanks Again for the feedback.. We appreciate it and will look into the issue brought up today right away.

@spoonfuls: No problems for me with Myspoonfuls.com... Although I just re-read my comment and can now see why you replied you'll "look into it". When I said "it doesn't work for us" I meant this particular combo deal is not a good match for us, not that the link/deal was broken. ;-)

Thanks as always for your responsiveness!

For the coffee part, do you have to get coffee at these establishments, or can you use it on anything they offer?

vote-for4vote-against

@aggiechick: Usually these work for anything sold in that particular establishment.

Trying this deal out for the first time. Thanks for your comments folks, hope this works out for me as well as they have for you guys in the past. If so, what a great deal since I'm a Starbucks fiend. :)

@redcore: cool. Fair or good, perhaps, but not sure it is a 'great' deal. It totally depends on whether the local offers really are special vs. what you otherwise find advertised in your market (the paper, Amazon Local, Groupon, etc...).

Think of it as buying a gift card at face value (something you can sometimes otherwise buy at a discount) + paying $6.95 for a limited # of coupons. When you 'buy' those individual coupons on the Entertainment site, think of every virtual Entertainment $ you spend like 14 cents (what each one cost you). When you redeem those Entertainment coupons as long as you save more than 14 cents / virtual Entertainment $ spent, you come out ahead.

Gotcha 1) After you print out each Entertainment coupon, it expires in 14 days, so don't go print off everything you think you'll want in the future!

Gotcha 2) Many coupons have limited # of uses so don't be thinking you only need to find one good match that you can use endlessly until you use up $50.
