These are great! They keep blooming and blooming. At first I doubted the 100 blooms, but after my first purchase, I realized they weren't lying. My wife loves them!

@oo7slice: Cool, thanks for the input. They seem like a great gift for Valentine's day if you don't want to "break the bank".

awesome deal...Valentine's day taken care of. Thanks!

flower $19.99 but Valentines Day shipping is standard rate +$19.99

@supertully: Why does ProFlowers try to nickle and dime the customer with an additional charge of $2.99 for handling! Plus they find a way of adding a square vase without the customer requesting this for an additional $9.99. Kind of dishonest if you ask me.

vote-for3vote-against

They offer a $15 rebate, but it is NOT a rebate. It is a requirement to sign up for some other service that asks for a credit card number, and then is a $15 coupon applicable to a future proflowers order. Plus there is $2.99 "service and handling charge" so the $19.99 price is a minumum $35 after tax, fees and delivery.

Go to your local grocery store. It will be cheaper.

You will have to pay a premium to ensure Valentine's day shipping, I would expect that from most flower shops. Don't forget Valentine's day is also on a Sunday this year, which may also increase the rates. I suggest just getting them shipped well before and "personally" delivering them yourself.

As for the Vase, make sure to select "no vase" if you don't want one.

$19 shipping is only if you want it to arrive on V-day. These flowers arrive dry and need to be placed in water for a day or so in order to come to full bloom. Choose $4.99 shipping to arrive on the 12th. Put them in a vase and add some water and hide them until V-day. They will be looking great and the wife will love that you had to put some effort into the whole thing. $25 for 100 blooms is a nice deal!

@jmbeam: any online flower site (ftd, 1800flowers, proflowers, ect.) will nickle and dime you for the convenience of you ordering "premium" flower arrangements delivered to the door you request. Besides 100 bloomed flowers for $23ish (just flowers no vase) isn't that bad now is it? Sure you could go and get half a dozen to a dozen roses for someone who keeps hounding you about getting them flowers or you can get this and give them more flowers then they know what to do with.

The price is good and the service is pretty good, as well. I've used them many times. Once, not enough flowers were included and when I called Customer Service another order was promptly sent. Another time, the flowers were in poor shape and again, they sent out a new batch. So, if for some reason the flowers don't show up as advertised, they do a good job of correcting the issue. All in all, I've been quite satisfied.

Inforwan, but I agree the site is annoying and attempts to nickle and dime you to death. Lame.

vote-for1vote-against

I for one like the quick and easy option of ordering a vase with the flowers, otherwise I'd have to go looking around the house for something.

@tiedyejeremy: BEWARE of any rebate including a "free shipping rebate". It's NOT free, but actually membership into some sort of buyers club scam. Does the same thing with wanting a credit card number and then making charges to it. Lot's of consumer complaints:

BEWARE: Read all of the Proflower terms of service when making a purchase and make sure you uncheck any boxes that sign you up for monthly services. I would highly recommend using a different service, otherwise use a disposable credit card when making a purchase from them.

The 19.99 is not really $19.99.

$19.99 (flowers) + $9.99 (standard shipping) + $4.99 (if you choose any of the green days only) + taxes + care (WTF is this?) = $40.

Doesn't sound like a good deal anymore. The shipping rebate will cost you $12 bucks a month.

Just a warning.

Eek - sounded good at first but will stay away. Thanks for the legwork!

If you click on the Radio Microphone icon on the top right and enter the code HANITY, you will get a free large vase with the order.

Then enter the promo code LISTEN15 at checkout and get an additional 15% discount.

So even with the free vase, 15% discount, having this delivered in time for Valentines still adds up to $32.41 including tax. That's 32.4 cents per bloom, so it may be worth it.

@meetyburger: You forgot the charge for a vase.

I got to the end and canceled:
100 Blooms of Love $39.99: $19.99
Polka Dot Love Ceramic: $14.99
Standard Express Delivery: $9.99
Saturday Delivery: $9.99
Care & Handling: $2.99
Tax: $3.48
TOTAL: $61.43

@rickyharper: I don't believe you have to get a vase.

vote-for2vote-against

@supertully: If this an internet company why then do they charge Tax?

vote-for1vote-against

@jmbeam: I'm not really sure, perhaps there's some sort of technicality where they have to include it.

vote-for3vote-against

Enter the code '100' in case you're like me and can't stand that moron Hannity. 100 is the code for the Howard Stern show. Gets you the exact same deal.

@jmbeam: I believe that they charge tax if they have a B&M in the state where you live.

My honey got me flowers from here last year and they were dead ugly mess on V-day when they arrived...and talk about tiny roses...the "dollar" store had better looken flowers! I was very upset I wouldn't even take them out of the box!! We called and they offered to resend new ones...Yeah right! We got our money back!

vote-for1vote-against

@aliciapatterson:two things wrong with what you said: they are supposed to start blooming after you get them (from the site: "To allow these beautiful flowers to last much longer, they are shipped fresh, budding, and ready to bloom.") and they aren't roses...

I used the link top 15% off link at http://www.allonlinecoupons.com/st/proflowers/. Takes $3 off the total for a GT of $29.95 w/ shipping. Note you have to use this link before adding the item and checking out.

i just placed my 4th order with proflowers. they are top notch. all my previous flowers looked great even after 10 days. ive gotten roses, tulips, and lilies and all looked good. use the promo codes from all the major radio shows like "rush" "glenn" "hannity" for a free vase and free standard shipping. i got this same order and it was $19.99 to the door for my mom's b-day (the 11th) with a clear glass vase (she'll have 5 of those vases now).

proflowers is by far the best place to buy flowers in advance. shipping can get pricey without a promo code and there are increased charges for busy "flower" holidays. also, after placing an order they show you a rebate popup that's really shady. you've probably seen these on other sites. dont click it.

Was about to place order, and happened to come across this link for 20% as a PayPal partner.

Placed. Shipped with vase. With Tax and shipping for the 12th at 33 bucks.
I'll take it.
