1366x768 is NOT "full HD". and 1.3" isn't "slim". Good price, but I hate when companies use labels that aren't realistic.
All I have to say is do a BBB search on this company! I got burned by them and judging by their BBB report, you probably will too! Watch out!
You can get a new one with similar specs at Amazon....I just did! Spent $420 for a NEW ASUS laptop....very very satisfied with it!
i picked up this laptop last year on black friday for marginally more than what it's being sold for now. that said, it's held its value and is an excellent entry-level-to-mid-range laptop. great workhorse unit, the only downside is the volume: speakers produce quality (for a laptop) sound, but it does not get very loud. also, concerns about the monitor are overblown: video and images come through rich and clean, and output to a television is excellent.
@btalarczyk: I have ordered from them many times. Apart from slow shipping (something I have learned to live with), I have had no problems that were not eventually worked out to my satisfaction.
@morriea: Seconded. I've bought several times from them, and after my first experience (very satisfied), I judge any good prices against waiting a couple of weeks.
I did return one item, whose refund was processed in a week. Another order was my error (wrong size), about which I immediately e-mailed to request cancellation, and they replied the next day to confirm.
@eidelbus: Good attitude! I think way too many people pass up deals because they are worried about what might happen. I simply use Paypal on any deal from a site that may cause a problem. If there is an issue, I dispute it. The beauty is, in the long run, I come out WAY AHEAD. A couple bad deals here and there are MORE than made up by all the good ones, and I have NEVER failed to get my money back sooner or later.
With this site, I have not had to set up a dispute on well over 50 deals.
