Anyone know if it includes the "lost" episodes which didn't air? I saw these on Scyfy last year, finally, but I noticed it theoretically skipped some episodes.

Serenty [Blu-Ray] dropped to $9.49 on Amazon also.

it contains all fourteen episodes, though since I've got amazon prime I'm just going to wait until it drops down to $12 again.

@bigshtank: Yes. It has all episodes and an easter egg of Adam Baldwin singing hero of canton while sporting a cunning hat.

I know everyone loves this show and I've tried really hard to watch it and like it, but I just can't get into it :(

@johnnys13: BOO THIS MAN!! I do have to say. I LOVE Firefly but the open theme song sucks so bad.

To bad FOX has good ideas but lacks follow through or good sense when it comes to scifi /fantasy or this series could have been a lot longer and made more sense(Episodes shown in correct order). I still love it.

@johnnys13: Have you looked up the order that the episodes should be watched in. Playing the episodes in the correct order makes the show easier to enjoy.

I got this for about $10 a few months ago

I keep thinking about buying this, but I already have it on DVD (bought it when it first came out), and I can stream it in decent HD from amazon.com free with prime.

Yet I still keep thinking about it.

I liked the movie, but it was too much action and not enough people for me compared to the show. There was too much story to tell.

Awesome show. Those that liked it like me were fanatical about the writing, cast (Morena, call me... :), filming, effects, and "quirkiness"... a real gem of a TV show. Sadly, many didn't "get it". I felt the show is like a freshman-year roomate you don't get at first, but then they grow on you and you're best buds in no time. Watch several episodes IN ORDER, and YES.... you will be hooked.

@craigthom: You can also stream it from Netflix (all 14 eps, in the correct order, plus the movie) - that's how I got hooked. Gave the series four stars, but only three for the movie.

[Can you say, "Jumped the shark?"]

Love the show, HUGE fan. There's a lot of story, it hits a stride after episode 2, the 1st episode is devoted to trying to explain how the characters come together and a little of who they are.

My roommate didn't like it at first, but she continued to watch it. she really loves the show now. btw, i use that ideology a lot with her. Just keep trying it and you'll like it

i got this never nor will ever due to: having taste

Oh wow Firefly on Deals.Woot! Wait...that's right, it's only been on here 784 times! Boo nerd. Booooo!

I've determined that using the word complete should be reserved for things that were, you know, completed...

@jdgm3nt4l: Joss Whedon wields the kind of power that he could bring Firefly back, just not in the form we all love. It's not likely to come back with the original surviving crew (no Ron Glass or Alan Tudyk), but it can come back in the Firefly universe with a completely different crew.

In the event that happens, hopefully Joss is wise enough to know that he shouldn't even pursue optioning it to Fox, no matter how much they offer.
