I'm in four one. (pun intended)

My 2yr old will enjoy, in for 1. Anyone know about battery life?

vote-for3vote-against

@jdubbers: Not sure if this would be a good toy for a two year old. Probably made of 90% Cadmium, and 10% Lead.

In for a set, fun for the kiddies.

In for a set...Can't even buy gun for $.99 anymore!

vote-for1vote-against

I love these! I buy a pack whenever they have them. You can't beat a quarter a light.

@blt65toth: Not sure I would trust a $0.99 gun.....heh

The set I received worked intermittently, but put up the 5 piece of superbright LED keychains and I will definitely buy again.

just bought a small flashlight at Walgreens for $6. This looks like plain fun, and will give to the nephews for Christmas. They'll love it

Anyone have any experience with Meritline's shipping from China?

I'm currently waiting for an order shipped from overseas and it's been about 4 weeks. I thought the order would ship from China (which is usually about 2 weeks to NYC) but the e-mail said it shipped from Singapore about a week after I placed the order. Customer service tried to be helpful but they can't track the order either.

I don't think that AA battery is gonna fit unless you stomp it flat.

@antares008: I've ordered several things from Meritline with various shipping results. Some stuff comes in a few days, some several weeks. The longest I've ever waited was about 6 weeks. But, as long as it's free shipping I'm not complaining.

I once ordered 3 MMC memory cards, and they shipped me three cans of mace instead. They never straightened out the order. I think they're a scam. Buyer beware!

vote-for2vote-against

@antares008: ordered multiple things from them and I've always received it, but the shipping does take a while... If you don't get it in 2 more weeks just go to your credit card and dispute the charge.

@antares008 & @strifev: don't expect anything from Meritline to get there within 2 weeks. while it is possible, that is generally only for the items that ship from their CA warehouse. A vast majority of their stuffs do come from China, and without any real tracking. The lack of tracking is due to the cheap, cheap shipping, which I'm willing to deal with for cheap pieces of crap i rarely need but incessantly buy from Meritline.

it is also worth noting that a significant number of folks on the internet have experienced some CC numbers seeming to be stolen directly after purchases with Meritline. It doesn't sound like they steal them, but that they don't necessarily keep the data secure. I personally didn't have CC info stolen any of the approximately 40-50 times I used CC info with them, but after hearing that, I switched to paying them with paypal to be sure. just some food for though.

Thanks for the information guys. I'll wait a little while longer. And besides, for cheap stuff shipped free, I'm not going to get too worked up if it's a little slow in arriving.

One thing I have to correct from my previous post is that the stuff I got from China previously was from DealExtreme. It was shipped by some kind of air-mail (Hong Kong Post?) and arrived in NYC, and then to my house, pretty quickly. I'm guessing Meritline didn't use the same shipping with my current order.
