Cuban Zirconia Ring for $12.95
"The scarcity of almost everything in Cuba was the inspiration for the creation of the CUBAN ZIRCONIA* RING. Now all the people can enjoy the elegant CUBAN ZIRCONIA* RING at a very modest cost.
*Cuban Zirconia is not a gemstone but a black bean that is very precious to the people of Cuba."
I seriously thought that searching Cuban Zirconium would turn up bupkis. I guess I was wrong.
The gemstone is some bean of sorts. The ring is gold, karat purity could be anything, it might be plated for all I know. Interesting nevertheless.

Oh. My. God. I almost fell off the chair just now. That's not "some kind of bean" boy, that's a genuine black bean. You know, black beans and rice?

That kind of black bean. You are pretty funny for me.
Yummy. Now I want to make gumbo.
[Dang you've been a pistol on finding the outliers for posting lately. This one may be your best.]
@catbertthegreat: I can't believe you found this!
I really should get this just because. Let me tell you about Cubans and black bean. We Americans have our french fries, and the Cubanos both here & back on the island have their frijoles negros. I learned early on they are a staple with darn near every meal. That and white rice. I can make a mean batch of them too. And Moros Y Cristianos. Hubs says I'm now Cuban by injection ;)
@shrdlu: GUMBO???? Woman, no. I'm going to have to go post my recipe of on http://dealswootrecipes.blogspot.com/ for you to try.
