@undrpsi: Seagull is a Chinese company. I use to buy a lot of Chinese watches back in the day to resell and I remember the company always advertising in the trade magazines I used to get. Pretty much all of the watches and watch parts advertised were based out of Hong Kong. Miyota is a Japanese company. It is the movement brand manufactured by citizen. Miyota movements are in most low cost brand name watches like invicta with the exception of the Clothing brand name watches such as Kenneth Cole, Guess, and the like. Those all use Chinese sourced movements. Just FYI, not all Chinese movements are bad, though. There are many Chinese junk movements out there, but Seagull is actually one of the higher quality brands in Chinese movements. It is on par with anything Miyota makes, so don't be afraid of of a watch that uses one.
