Anyone able to get that coupon code to work? This is the message I get:

System is unable to apply discounts to the following items in your shopping cart:
116-559-001 Super Talent 32GB MicroSDHC Card (Class 10) with SD Adapter, Model MSD32ST10R
Possible reasons:
- The coupon code is invalid or has expired
- You have redeemed the coupon code in your previous order
- The coupon code has reached the maximum redemption limit

Worked for me then when I went to check out the $44 price showed back up so I started over and got the same message about code no longer being valid. Dang!

Invalid code...
Oh well, too good to be true.

The coupon says it's only good for the first 200 orders:

$9.94 w/Code: MLC115TN For First 200 Orders

That was probably reached a few minutes after the code was posted.

I got the same message, but when I manually reentered the code in the cart, it applied the discount. I assumed it was a problem with the URL, which was automatically applying an older code.

I find it incredible how many upvotes this keeps getting even though nobody can get the code to work. Obviously people are either randomly upvoting deals or upvoting without reading the comments. I posted that the code didn't work when there were only 3 up-votes.

@cengland0: Were you within the first 200 orders? It does say the code will apply within the first 200 orders.

If the code is not working, then that means they have already sold 200 and the deal is no more.

@deelightful1956: It doesn't tell you how many people ordered so I don't know. Still, if the deal is no longer valid, the OP should expire this deal.

I received the email from meritline with this deal and I immediately tried to purchase this memory and it failed. Then, the OP posted it here so I tried again and it still failed. In my opinion, the deal was expired BEFORE it was posted.

@cengland0: ME TOO so seems it's over 100 orders so the coupon doesnt work

I'm still waiting for the super DUPER Talent cards.

I've tattled this to get it RIPd. Posting here so the mods don't get a bunch of duplicate tattles.

Well, I was able to successfully place an order early this morning, but just received email notification that my order was cancelled because the item was sold out. In my opinion, somebody screwed up and put the 32GB model on sale when it was supposed to be the 16GB model, as the ~$10 price is consistent with Meritline's recent sales. I think they should have sucked it up and honored the advertised price -- since they limited the number of times the code could be used to 200, it wouldn't have cost them that much.

This is dead! Bait and switch maybe? Or a way to get people to their site to shop?

vote-for1vote-against

@trouble4u2: Meritline is a reputable company. I have purchased countless items from them so I do not suspect they did anything purposely to mislead us. Also, this was a sale price put into an email that went to previous customers that signed up for their daily emails.

A regular customer would not have seen this except that it was posted here on deals.woot. I agree with @birniei that they should have honored the price at least for those people that did order it before the maximum number of uses for the coupon code.

Another satisfied Meritline customer here. I didn't get in on this deal but I order from them regularly. I ordered a Wii cable from them yesterday, in fact, as they were 33% cheaper than any competing vendor on a Wii composite cable. I got an email from them first thing this morning that it's been mailed already

@rhmurphy: I tattled a couple hours before that (looking at the time stamp). I get the impression that this is tattle proof.

vote-for1vote-against

I've never had problems with Meritline, so that's not why I've tattled. It's because the deal is dead*.
I don't know why Woot staff isn't RIP'ing this. It's time to invoke the Woot Gods, I guess..

@thunderthighs: What's happening here? The deal is so dead that it's really starting to smell. Why not RIP'd, since the site has been rejecting it for many hours, especially given that those who manage to get their order in early have apparently had that order canceled?

vote-for0vote-against

I got in on the purchase just seconds after it was posted,. was able to order 1 and as others have stated here they got an email that they had sold out and refunded your money. I too got that bull (profanity) email. I was scepticle even before placing the order that it was not gonna be honored. I have ordered from meritline now for years and this stunt they just pulled is BS. You (profanity) up you suck it up, even after ordering from them for many years now i will frown upon a sale and think twice before ordering it. They have lost alot of business from me over the months, keep up the good work!. i will be down to zero soon.

vote-for2vote-against

@rhmurphy: sniff sniff Smells RIP'd to me. (I ripped it.) Not sure about why it wasn't except it can take a bit to catch up on tattles if there's a lot of them.

vote-for1vote-against

@thunderthighs: Thanks!

The tattle overload is why I posted that I had already tattled it, but given the number of people annoyed by the way this was (mis) handled, it's no surprise it was massively reported.
