This is no deal.... amazon has it on sale for almost half... even the list price is $5 less than what you are selling it for.

@halfme: What if Amazon were selling it for one cent and this merchant were selling it for two cents?

Anyway, I think this could make a nice decoration; but I wouldn't put my nuts in it.

@vladistov:

$13.34 with free shipping at Amazon
$19.95 at shelburnecountrystore

But in response to your non-sequitor. $0.01 is always better than $0.02, when merchants are similar. If the product is only worth $0.015 then $0.02 is a rip off.

@halfme: I'm only responding now in this manner because you had the foolish arrogance to accuse me of non sequitur, when it is you who has ironically done so.

Your claim that 'this is no deal' is wholly irrelevant to your new position that 'x is greater than y'. That is not the question, and you are misrepresenting my position. There are four possibilities:

A is a deal and B is not a deal; A is not a deal and B is a deal; Both A and B are deals; Both A and B are not deals.

I won't deny the truism that any number which is greater than another number is, redundant to say, greater than that number. And as I have not, you are welcome to assault your straw friend all day; but know I'm well aware it's not me you're bloodying your hands with.

I don't mind your bad Latin; but only if you're right.

Your statement: "But in response to your non-sequitor. $0.01 is always better than $0.02, when merchants are similar. If the product is only worth $0.015 then $0.02 is a rip off."
