Requires a USB dongle, does not use the built-in wireless of the PS3 console. That equals a pass for me.

If Sony actually made something like this, I'd buy it. I love this idea. Even if it was just the game controller with Play/Pause/etc. buttons (and not the slide-out keyboard), I think it would have a higher W.A.F. (Wife Acceptance Factor) than playing movies with the game controller.
