NOTE: This special is available on 8/8/13 ONLY!

Since DW changed the algorithm for Popular Deals, these things keep popping up on the front page a day or two AFTER they are available. I will try to watch and make sure this gets expired when it needs to be, but in the meantime, scoop up some cheap treats for your pups while you can. Our border collie, our Shih Tzu, and our daughter's beagle all love these!

Thanks! My doggies LOVE these things!!!

Site is not accepting orders... (10:15 est)

If you order over $39 in stuff you can get free shipping:

The graphic says three hours only, but the email said it was good for 24 hours today 8/8/13. I am noticing a lot of this type of conflict in ads I am getting lately from all different kinds of vendors. Seems like the ad departments at these firms are not doing their due diligence.

"Extended for 24 hours. If you missed out on this deal on Monday, you have another 24 hours to participate."

I didn't have any problem ordering at 9:29AM Central. Thank you, belyndag, for introducing me to this site. I got the buffalo ears, duck chews, 3 bully sticks, 3 large pork bones, and 3 15-in. rib bones for $19.90, including shipping. I have three powerful chewers, so I'm always on the lookout for good deals on bones.

@petflow: Hi everyone! Please click this completely unviewable, may-be-porn, may-be-malware link to have your browser do something!

And order from me! I'm completely legit! Would a Nigerian prince lie to you?

@petflow: A deal for your site is already posted and has gone popular. Spamming us isn't going to get you more business, in fact it could also get this and other deals from your site removed. I ordered from your site because of this deal, I'd encourage others to do the same. Please don't screw it up.

Just friendly advice from a customer who would like to see others enjoy the same savings.

@petflow: I don't believe anyone would object to you posting a note here, but perhaps it should be something along the lines of "Thanks for sharing this deal. If anyone would like more information about our products, please let us know." It IS helpful to know that sites are monitoring posts of their deals on DW and are willing to answer questions people might ask. Thanks.

Hi everyone! Sorry about that, we may have gotten a little over-zealous here. We most certainly are watching the orders as they come in from the woot community. We have had some calls from folks asking how to get the best deal and we pointed them over to our doorbusters page where this deal is located.

If anyone has any questions about PetFlow, we'd be happy to answer.

As an FYI: Most orders placed before 3pm will typically ship the same day. Orders are transmitted to our warehouse within 1.5 hours of them being placed so that customers can make changes if necessary. After that, they'll ship and you'll receive a shipment confirmation email. Since we're taking a lot of orders today, some may go out tomorrow.

All orders are shipped via FedEx.

Thanks everyone for giving PetFlow a try!

I got the duck chews, the beef ears, some bully sticks, and my regular dog food (at the same price I buy it locally) which got me free shipping and all the treats are WAY lower than I can find them locally.
I know they do these special deals to get new customers but dang I may have to order from them again. (Although the local place does a 13th bag of food is free)

@petflow: Now that's what we like to see in a vendor post. Informative and complete. I have gotten a couple of the "spolied rotten" boxes from PetFlow and they were pretty good, I didn't get more because the toys were just comically small for my Great Dane. But if you have a dog under 50lbs they would probably be a great buy. PetFlow ought to consider adding some additional size classifications to those boxes. It's currently little (under 25lbs) or big (over 25lbs). But dogs in your "big" category can range from 26-326lbs. There is an enormous (pun intended) difference in what these dogs can safely play with and chew on.

@statictrance: I was able to place an order that just went through at 12:07pm eastern time. I added other things on my order that I would have bought at the pet store. Seems like a waste to spend $4.95 on shipping of two small treats, so I made it worth my time.

@petflow: Just to provide a bit of feedback: I probably wouldn't have noticed your site or placed as large an order as I did if not for these $0.01 items :-) they are great for drawing attention and getting people to notice how affordable your treats are. Keep the small deals like this coming and I'll be back for more. Also thanks for your informative post. Always nice to see a vendor that cares about the customers and trys to follow the (still unofficial) rules.

@moondrake: We are currently re-working our Spoiled Rotten boxes to see if we can offer a selection of bigger products. The only problem is that bigger products invariably cost more, so for $24.99, it wouldn't contain 6-7 products like our typical boxes do. Question for you: Would you be willing to pay $49.99 a month for something like this? Serious market research here :)

vote-for2vote-against

@nmchapma: Thanks! That's the whole idea here. We're working with a few vendors to be able to bring in more items that we can offer at this price. The biggest issue honestly is having enough stock. Most manufacturers aren't prepared to provide thousands of units of something that would be sufficient for our volume of sales, but we've got a few products in the pipeline right now that will be coming in the next few weeks.

@petflow: I would rather see a smaller box with fewer items at the original price. I'd certainly consider a box promising say, a toy suitable for a big dog, one or two packages of high end US made treats, and some kind of grooming item (like shampoo, fur wipes or dental drops) for the current $25.

I am probably in the 5% pickiest shoppers you are going to encounter. My dog is my family, so I am very protective of him. He has a sensitive tummy, is of a bloat-prone breed, recently survived a life threatening bout of pancreatitis and is a very powerful chewer. Consequently he only gets top grade grain free food and US made treats, and very rarely gets chew-type things as he crunches them up and swallows them in a few seconds. The only toy he is allowed to play with unsupervised is a huge plastic ball I bought from a zoo catalog that's intended for bears and lions. All my other Great Danes have lived to be 12-13. Simba is going to be a challenge but I am determined he will also.

@moondrake: Thanks for the feedback, we really appreciate it :)

Crunchy Duck chews actually sounds pretty tasty.
